Colm Cooper, probably the best player in Ireland right now, but its a bit of a joke having a team without Keith Higgins, punished for his versatility. Mayos best player this year and a nailed on bolted down certainty to collect his second Allstar in a few weeks time in the real awards, no matter what anyone says here.

Yet COS was awarded for his ''versatility''

Gooch.

Would've been interesting to see who would've got the rhf position if you had to vote neutral. think Mackey won the neutral vote. pity.

Hurlingdubs choices are a perfect example of why I felt you should only be allowed vote neutral :)

Exactly. You have summed the entire process up in 1. His team won, thus he has to get in. Had he played exactly the same and brogan's fisted effort dropped over the bar instead of under it, it would be Donal Vaughan with Aidan O'Shea in midfield. We really need to get away from this type of biased selection process.

Fully agreed, Higgins shouldn't be punished for his versatility, one of the top 5 players in the country this year.

Gooch for me

Cork team of 2010 only got 4 awards. Often is biased but not always.

Or if we had 15 fit lads for the last ten minutes we would of won by 4 or 5.
Or if our goal efforts has of been a bit more to one side ,we would have won by 6 or 7.
It was the most emphatic 1 point victory youll see. and no even if you won A o S wouldn't of got into midfield because he went missing on the big day, Vaughan was chasing flynner most of the match so he wouldn't either.
but sure in your little world Brogans fisted goal was the only difference between the sides.
