What exactly did Flynn do? Mayo half backs ran riot in the final. He's a great lad for running around, and always skies a ball or two towards the corner flag, but after that?

Cian Mackey or Graham Reilly. Miles better.

Well for starters he setup 2 goals in the final and scored a cracking point. I think that's a decent return in an AI from a guy who does most of the hard work around the middle. Mayo half-backs were hardly 'running riot'. What exactly were they doing? Dublin scored 1-6 from play against those backs in the second half and only conceded 0-1 from play. Maybe they did great work around the middle?? Flynner is a very consistent performer, hard tackler, great engine and chips in with vital scores.

PS - don't think Reilly kicked a ball, literally, against Dublin. He had a shocker from what I recall.

What on earth is Paul Finlay doing there! Probably his quietest year in a Monaghan jersey!

It's a shame Mackey and Flynn are both nominated here as I'd have them as my 2 wing-forwards, but between them I'd have to go for Flynn.

admin........Some may be surprised at the exclusion of Aidan O Shea.
not as surprised as the exclusion of seamus o'shea. Cavanagh an all star after the way he carried on this year. I don't think so. Disappointed and disillusioned that such cynicism should be condoned and vindicated.

has to be mcloughlin for a great year, admittedly, like most mayo players he didn't perform on the big day and handed a soft all-Ireland to the dubs who just managed to scrape over the line.

Cian Mackey, Flynn wasn't as good this year despite what people seem to believe. Me thinks people are choosing the name rather than the performance this year.
