I meant to say Robbie Hennelly for I thought Cluxton was very poor vs Kerry,, Hennelly was good all year. Seamus O'Sea was brilliant this year so I'd put him in there instead of Aidan.. What ye think??? southmatt (Mayo) - Posts: 98 - 12/10/2013 12:55:49 1499841 Link 0 |
Sorry there (ROUNDBALL) I don't under stand why you would have Jack McCaffrey and O'Connor in the team of the YEAR and then say Paul Mannion was YOUNG PLYER OF THE (YEAR) Paul Mannion must be your coisin or something because i'm a mayo man and i can clearly see that Jack McCaffrey was young player of the year you mustn't understand What a Player of the year means. Or do yeah??? southmatt (Mayo) - Posts: 98 - 12/10/2013 13:07:43 1499847 Link 0 |

Aidan O Shea had a poor semi final and a very poor final. His brother was outstanding in both games. Not rocket science. TheFlaker (Mayo) - Posts: 8451 - 12/10/2013 13:32:15 1499855 Link 0 |

Keith Higgins at no 12?? What next? Another term in office for FG?? beal (Mayo) - Posts: 1388 - 12/10/2013 20:28:38 1500000 Link 0 |
The problem with Keith Higgins and why he doesn't get the recognition he deserves is because he is always so consistently good. The last 6/7 years he has been one of the best players in the country. When players like Aiden O Shea have one good game they get more recognition. None of the players going for young player of the year performed when it mattered, but o Connor did end up as top scorer after playing only a handful of games so I give it to him. MDMC gets my vote for senior as he always puts in a great shift but I feel if mayo put someone like Vaughan on him in the final who would have has the pace and power to match him to win those well placed kick outs it could of been a different story. ballaghmen (Mayo) - Posts: 318 - 13/10/2013 11:46:26 1500082 Link 0 |
