Is wonderingabout someone else we all know well? James McCarty very unlucky to lose out but the Mayo wing backs were excellent all year.

Well done to Colm Boyle of Mayo who was the clear winner of the left half back spot.

Will let voting on the midfield position run until 10pm Sunday night. Each reader can have 2 votes.

Our nominations, as we said yesterday these are not set in stone, are The O Shea brothers, Aidan and Seamus from Mayo, Michael Darragh Macauley, Dublin, Sean Cavanagh, Tyrone, Darren Hughes, Monaghan, Kerry's Anthony Maher and Paul Conroy of Galway.

No Cian O Sullivan here as he was chosen for the centre half back slot.

1498994 So admin changed the rule for no.4 because they wanted the fella they fancied to get in, then changed it back afterwards... Functionally, that is what they just said. Well done lads, your selection process is looking even more dodgey than the all-star selection process.

Im voting cian o'sullivan for left half back. Now I know he is in the team already, but it isnt actually stated anywhere that you cant be picked twice, a bit like it not being stated that guys have to play in their positions.

Admin---Life just would not be the same without TheMaster having a gripe or two. I think the smallest portion of common sense directs that a player cannot figure on the same team twice.

BOOM!!!! :)

Simple choice for me, the two best midfielders this year were McAuley and Cavanagh.

None of this moving players to accommodate them nonsense.

Cavanagh & Seamus O'Shea.

Can't understand anyone who has picked Aidan over his brother.
