So a Kerry poster can't vote for Cooper at centre forward because they couldn't possibly be right?! Would this actually have changed the results of 1-3? Fairly ridiculous and as open to bias this way too.

Chris Barrett in anyways from me.

Beggan had 4 clean sheets. But Cluxton was more important, despite what he let in.

Keith Higgins for me but looks like Chris Barrett will get it giving a a full Mayo full-back line. Surely something wrong there. I don't think Cunniffe would have gotten it had the County rule been applied at that time.

Colin Walshe, rule change doesn't really work unless you carry it for all positions.

Very close calls here, I'll go for Walshe.

Keith Higgins, been outstanding all year and should not be denied an All Star just because he is so versatile.

How? You're choosing extreme cases to make a point. Unless you have no faith in neutrals making the right call, it has to be much less biased doing it this way

Extreme examples? But they are the examples you used to show that the Dublin posters were unable to pick correctly and unbiasedly.

If you think a certain player is the best in his position you should be allowed to pick them rather than have to pick an inferior player, in your view, instead.

I have faith in most neutrals making a right call, around about the same percentage of Dublin posters who I think would vote in an unbiased manner. Some Dubs would vote very biased of course but then again they are easily cancelled out by those posters from other counties who will always vote with their own prejudices.
