the modern thing is flavours of the month, how have been in the spotlight maybe last 12 months. sure this website was doing its top 15 footy players of all time, and dont think anyone from beyond 2000 or maybe mid90s got in!
its this whole communication era we live in

apparently they have taken top 10s from all the sports stars they have had on their shows as guests, combined them and averaged out the vote and this is the list....! So its sports stars picking....

It may not be the worlds most loved sport but unlike Soccer, rugby etc etc it is huge business all over the world and that is why consistently for the last 15 years the worlds highest paid sports people have been golfers. Where are the like of Sean Kelly, Stephen Roche, Eamonn Coughlan, Kevin Moran, GAA & soccer Liam McHale, GAA & Basketball, there's at least 5 other Gaelic footballers & hurlers that could be in there ahead of most of those, the Rackards, Christy Ring, the list is too current to reflect the true picture !

No Gaelic footballer was a surprise but that will change as weeks go on. Katie Taylor does deserve to be up so high.
current Irish, European, World and Olympic Champion in her division. Best in her division for nearly a decade.

It was week 1 of the show. the list will change every week with the guests. no there would not be 5 gaelic footballers/hurlers who could be ahead of most already in the list. some hurlers/footballers will make the list as the show goes on over the next few weeks

It was a good show and the top 10 was just a bit of craic. Fair point about no footballers in the top 10 & I agree that there should be but on the whole the show is a good laugh?

I thought those lads were over-rated on newstalk but to give them credit live TV last night brought out their talents. They are good lads.
