I believe the Mayo players are wearing ear-pieces is training now, that's a new one, we'll be flicking the players soon, ala Subbuteo!

Some one watches from the stand and tells them what to do in every situation. Its a kind of hypnosis on your feet. Then on match day in front of 70 or 80 thousand you should do the same things automatically. The question is how do they get up in the morning, make a breakfast, drive a car,do a days work, use an A.T.M,use the toilet, shave, ride, wash their teeth, clean their ears, use their mobiles, without THE VOICE IN THEIR EARS.

Shouldnt you be more concerned with what kerry are doing in training?
Again the dubs are disrespecting their opponents.

Give it a rest Master, I found it intriguing if you must know, and I'm not concerned about Kerry, only ourselves in that respect!

Funny title in fairness! Ah yeah it's getting out of hand now if that's true?
Also found Brady's Rangers comment quite witty.

It seems a lot of dubs have an unnatural obsession with all things Mayo, what do you fear lads?

Seems like a fairly smart thing to do. Instead of hearing half a dozen shouts from the sideline and figuring out which one is for you, you get coaching directly in the earpiece. Also the tactics can be run out in training without having to broadcast it to the world. You could even say that a player training will take on board a quiet comment on positioning during training better than being berated from the sidelines by the coach. I can see a lot of potential positives.

IF Mayo win the All Ireland expect this to become common practice in other counties next year

No TheMaster,

We are ignoring Kerry because whats the point in focussing on what will be a one sided game as we know we are going to be hammered by them!.....what part of that do you not understand!

So you have no concerns about kerry at all realdub. Did you not learn anything in 09?
We in mayo are fully focused on tyrone, as they are on us. Im sure kerry are focused on yourselves, so why are you spending so much time worrying about mayo?

On the subject itself. An inspired move in my opinion. They are using technology to improve and streamline a core part of training - management instructions. It makes far more sense to me than some of the stuff that has been wheeled out in the past - some of the stuff that gets passed off as psychology sounds more like common sense. Im actually more surprised that it took a team so long to do it.

Is there anything in the rules that would prevent a team doing this in a match??
