I wonder who will be favorites between Ramor and Castlerahan. A lot of hype around both teams this year, I still don't think either side will win it.

The winners of the Cavan Senior Championship will be away to the Fermanagh champions in the First Round of the Ulster Club Championship the winners of that game will play Donegal/Antrim in the Semi Final, not a bad draw for the eventual Cavan champions.

What i meant by that was i don't think either side will win the championship. As for this weekends game, i have no idea. Toss a coin.

If Jack Brady and James McEnroe are not shackled Ramor will win it. If Castlerahan want to win I feel the best man to man mark Jack Brady is Flannagan but then he is stopped from moving forward and causing trouble.
I think I will go with experience and tip Castlerahan to win by 4 points. Shame they had to meet now it would have been a great simi final or even a county final but not to be sadly.
The standard we have seen to date makes it really a hard match to call.

Interesting how are Castlerahan so experienced

What about the Gaels now?

I would imagine that Sean's opinion that Castlerahan are more experienced is based upon the number of Quarters, Semis and Final they have contested over the last four years. Ramor have been the form team of 2013 in League and Championship to date. I believe that Castlerahan will win but then I do wear Maroon tinted spectacles.

By all accounts this is a match to come down home for and will be worth arriving back in the burbs late on Sunday night, I think Sean is being a bit negative re the standard sounds like he's listening to the panel on the Sunday game a bit too much. I hope the players can keep their feet as you know how slippy the pitch can get this time of year with the hard ground a a bit of rain.

Castlerahan 6/4 with boyle sports to beat ramor sounds like a great bet to me.

Ramor to edge it by 1 or 2 points

This ones down to the midfield battle which I suspect Ramor will win - The Rahans midfield is poor. Supply limited into Mackey/ the Flanagans will kill off the BJD's side chance. Ronan Flanagan will pick up Jack Brady if the management do the right thing. Still feel it is Ramor United who will progress but only just.

Ramor will play the Fermanagh champions away in the quarter final of Ulster...After that, it's the winners of Donegal v Antrim. A big ask but my gut tells me this is the year a Cavan team makes it back to the Ulster Club Final. Long overdue if ya ask me
