I wonder who will be favorites between Ramor and Castlerahan. A lot of hype around both teams this year, I still don't think either side will win it. EatMyFish (Cavan) - Posts: 205 - 10/09/2013 14:09:27 1479190 Link 0 |
Ballinagh will play the winners of Killygarry/Lacken in Mullahoran on Saturday 21st September at 7.30pm Loughduff Lad (Cavan) - Posts: 2480 - 10/09/2013 15:19:57 1479278 Link 0 |
The winners of the Cavan Senior Championship will be away to the Fermanagh champions in the First Round of the Ulster Club Championship the winners of that game will play Donegal/Antrim in the Semi Final, not a bad draw for the eventual Cavan champions. neilarmstron9 (Cavan) - Posts: 110 - 11/09/2013 13:02:38 1479923 Link 0 |

Interesting how are Castlerahan so experienced Edenburt15 (Cavan) - Posts: 723 - 11/09/2013 19:10:28 1480315 Link 0 |
I would imagine that Sean's opinion that Castlerahan are more experienced is based upon the number of Quarters, Semis and Final they have contested over the last four years. Ramor have been the form team of 2013 in League and Championship to date. I believe that Castlerahan will win but then I do wear Maroon tinted spectacles. rahanman (Cavan) - Posts: 127 - 12/09/2013 09:40:31 1480495 Link 0 |
By all accounts this is a match to come down home for and will be worth arriving back in the burbs late on Sunday night, I think Sean is being a bit negative re the standard sounds like he's listening to the panel on the Sunday game a bit too much. I hope the players can keep their feet as you know how slippy the pitch can get this time of year with the hard ground a a bit of rain. Castlerahan 6/4 with boyle sports to beat ramor sounds like a great bet to me. breffniroyal (UK) - Posts: 1 - 12/09/2013 12:19:28 1480629 Link 0 |
I think Castlerahan will win too, this Ramor team aren't anything special EatMyFish (Cavan) - Posts: 205 - 12/09/2013 15:15:38 1480829 Link 0 |
Ramor to edge it by 1 or 2 points CR7 (Cavan) - Posts: 126 - 13/09/2013 11:46:31 1481323 Link 0 |
This ones down to the midfield battle which I suspect Ramor will win - The Rahans midfield is poor. Supply limited into Mackey/ the Flanagans will kill off the BJD's side chance. Ronan Flanagan will pick up Jack Brady if the management do the right thing. Still feel it is Ramor United who will progress but only just. nidgey (Cavan) - Posts: 11 - 13/09/2013 17:31:44 1481678 Link 0 |
Ramor will play the Fermanagh champions away in the quarter final of Ulster...After that, it's the winners of Donegal v Antrim. A big ask but my gut tells me this is the year a Cavan team makes it back to the Ulster Club Final. Long overdue if ya ask me GallantJohnJoe (Cavan) - Posts: 329 - 13/09/2013 18:12:34 1481703 Link 0 |
