Kingscourt looked good . Ramor get it hard to put away a team although they will be in the shake up.

Kingscourt look very good. But this defensive plan allowing teams to come at them not working.. Ok against limited Denn team .

Ramor looked very good but Gowna looked very bad. Whats the story with Ramor bench. Is the parents commitee church commitee members half the parish on it. Let Gary Farrelly do his JOB. One manager two selectors Subs End Off.HYPE

Cavan Geals no discipline

Lavey chokers

Crosserlough doing well but chokers

Ballinagh squad will look back in years & say jesus we had some team pity we can t be managed

Mullahorn write them off at your peril!!!

Castlerahan my outside bet at this stage. Couple of tough lads comming through replaced the chokers of the past & with mackey & flanagans only a brute physical team will beat them at this stage .Prob is there are still 2-3 of those types left

Ramor are strong up front and in the middle but their defence is dodgey. Gowna got in for a few goal chances in the second half. Ramor didn't have it all their own way. Once Gowna conceeded the sloppy goal in the second half, Gowna gave up! Gowna were making poor decisions. Going for goals with 15-20 minutes still left. On two occasions in the second half, they went for goals which were not on (with a ramor goal coming from the resulting turnover). If they took their points it would have been a two point game with 15 minutes to go. With a strong inside line, Ramor could struggle. And I completely agree with the bench remark! Some amount of people around.....

There was a lot of people on the Ramor Sideline yesterday. I thing it looks a lot worse because the teams are made sit over in the far dugouts.Ramor had subs up to number 30 yesterday add in the management and back up team you would have up to 23-25 bodies around that dugout.
I was at the Lacken V Gaels match on Friday night and both teams used the stand dugouts. Each team had only two(manager & Selector at the dugouts)a water boy each side of the pitch the rest were all sitting in with the subs. This facility is not available on the far side.

It must be very difficult for the linesman to operate up and down the far line. They should be using the dugouts with the best facilities to cater for the teams.

Week 1 Preliminary Round (a) 4 teams play off- 2 winners, 2 losers-winner through to round 1
Week 2 Preliminary Round (b) 2 losers from week 1 play-off - winner through to round 1 -loser eliminated
Week 3 Round 1 16 teams
Week 4 Round 2 (a) 8 winners in Round 1 play each other- 4 winners through to quarter final
Week 4 Round 2 (b) 8 losers in round 1 play each other
Week 5 Round 3 4 losers of Round 2(a) play 4 winners of Round 2 (b)4 winners through to quarter final
Week 6 Round 4 Quarter Finals- open draw
Week 7 Round 5 Semi-finals
Week 8 Round 6 Final

We are now at week five, when will the draw be done for this round and when will these fixtures be played. By my reckoning there are still two outstanding games from week 4 round 2(a) Castlerahan V Cavan Gaels and Round 2(b) Lacken V Drumalee. Will these games be the only matches next week and draw done after?

Because of the large number of matches being played so close to each other it was decided to try and use both sides to try and take a lot of traffic from one area. Those that have been in the park will have see this.
Last week ladies All Ireland quarter finals were on the far side and Lavey V Crosserlough on the stand side. I am sure common sense has to prevail in situations like this.
Example last weekend just passed seven matches the week before seven matches and I expect more of the same next week end coming, taking into account three extra time matches it would be only a matter of time before the sideline on the stand side would be an eye sore.
In a situation like this its a loose loose scenario for people that make these decisions.
I am sure you can understand.

It's a terror all yiz can talk about from the Ramor Gowna game is the size of the Ramor bench!!!!
I'd be more concerned about their 3-15 tally. Serious scoring power. Mc Enroe is a power house and Brady is on fire also. Mc Keever also stood out, as did Enda Reilly from Mullahoran the previous week, so the future is bright and blue!

Ramor full forward is in good form too! Gowna should have had number 9 out in the middle from the start though.

i was very impressed with ramor last night..
they have a very young team and they are also extremely talented and i feel with the right people in charge there is no reason why this team couldnt have a lash at winning an ulster title in the coming years or we might even see them on st patricks day in croke park.
bright times ahead for ramor. they have fantastic underage teams and they are starting to produce on the senior stage.. as a cavan man i feel alot of clubs around cavan could learn alot from ramor.. i feel they are very much a team for the future.

Just seen this above post. Talking about st patricks day in croke park!!! Ramor are a quality team no doubt, I fancy them to win cavan this year, but I had to laugh when I read above post. I also fully expect Ireland to win the world cup in Brazil next year.

yes. I think asdfg must be Tom Smith in disguise.. although having said that you do share some similarities with him.
you are the first row. he is the second. ... hmmm intriguing.
