Gaels looked poor enough last night against a Lacken team that are only there to make up the numbers. My money would be on Kingscourt. Team with good players who can play cynically when they need to.

Ramor's new trainer is meant to have them going well. I don't think there'll be any shock.

9 scores against probably the weakest senior team you could meet. I saw the Gaels in their opening game last year and thought they wouldn't win the championship. I was proven right. I saw them again last night and thought the same. Kingscourt would beat them easily on that performance.

Chesty had a great day at the office played as usual with passion. Lacken were very poor for sure, hard to make a call on them from this match.
Gaels intermediate were a shambles Killeshandra by far the better team the score did not reflect Killeshandra's superiority.

The Junior Championship is proving to be a tough contaest as usual. I was at the Shercock game on Saturday night, Very impressed with them. On that performance I would fancy them to win it out.
Division 2 teams are not having it easy this year with Muntir Connaught beaten twice and Drung beaten on Saturday night.

Got mixed up trying to put words on Paper. What I meant to say was the Div 2 sides are struggling to beat Junior teams, Muntir Connaught struggling in Junior Championship despite being top tier of Div 2. Shercock being Div 3 beating Div 2 side Drung.

On the performance on Sat night Shercock should give the Intermediate a fair rattle as I hear Killeshandra were poor against Gaels second team in Breffni

Ramor anyone? Or does that result just show the gulf between Div 1a & 1b?
Should Redhills, Drumalee, Crosserlough, Gowna, Killygarry & Belturbet fear the same fate?

Correct, Div 2 Cornafean lost to Div 3 Shannon Gaels as well on Friday evening.

Hard to look past Killeshandra for the IFC, but they struggled to score against the Gaels. Gaels were non existent for the first half and only played for patches in the second half. Killeshandra should have had them bet home at HT but couldn't put chances away.

Is this not under the heading Senior Championship.Ramor look like they will be there or thereabouts. Still Gaels for me odds on.Castlerahan will also be in the final shakeup. A lot of poor teams allowed back into the Senior after being relegated. Only leads to one sided games with nobody at them.Ramor v Mullahoran will be interesting next week.Pick of the games by a mile.

Sorry Kinglarry if us low life's have tainted your elite post. I did try on numerour occassions to start new Threads but for some reason they were never added. Just this morning I tried, twice to start a post on my experience at the hurling semi in Croke park yesterday, but alas no joy. Hence the encroachment on your elite " Senior Championship thread"

Teams that were relegated last year had a meeting with mr Chairman and got back up senior. Some of them not doing well in 1b down at bottom of table .There not even fit for that league and there playing Senior Championship .Drumgoon are up near top of that division and they lost by 14 points last night.Point proven.
