Seanni its apples and Orange's. Joe did not go out to throw Ball into net. He was not told by manager to do it.It hhappened. It was ref who should have not awarded goal. Either free out or peno and no one would have spoke about Joe. Where as going out to cynical foul and dive is cheating. Cavanagh has to accept that so has Tyrone. If you don't want to be critisise then don't do it.

Seany16.
I am well aware thebmajority do not hold those views , I was merely stating
That is exists and unfortunately it has grown over the past 15yrs or so , now
I am a rational and level headed thinker and not for one moment did I suggest
Or believe that the majority held this as gospel . I was questioned further about
Proof and I merely provided a example .

Johnboy has got right to the core of the problem and it's what I have been saying for a while but get pelters for it. Over the past 15 years or so the Celtic Tiger (Pussycat) created an arrogance, selfishness, greed and coldness in many people in the South and this has manifested itelf, for some reason, in a real contempt and nastiness towards Northern people and the Ulster GAA. The media in the South is vehemently anti-Northern Nationalist, rabidly pro-Unionist and this has spilled over into sports coverage. The term 'Nordie' is used as a derogatory term and insult by many Southern people even directed at other Southern people. I travel a lot to the South and on radio I hear the term 'ye Nordie ye' used as a lot as a put down and the North aeems to be a great topic for fun, ridicule and contempt. I don't know why that is, is there a jealousy there, are people so unhappy at their lives that they have to insult others to feel better. Now don't get wrong I find many people in the Republic individually decent but collectively the South can be a very insulting, arrogant, unfriendly and indeed nasty place for many Northern people.

I always have a laugh when i see this comment from Ulsterman (must have been used well over 100 times at this stage) remind us Ulsterman where was a certain Mr Sean Quinn from? Wile your at it also remind us why was it the Ulster final was played in Croke Park during the mid 00@s?
