In Ulster Mans logic Jim corr is absolutely right and of course the devinci code was a true life story. Just they left out the southern partitionist conspiracy led by the media to wipe ulster of the map ala Simpson movie. royaldunne (Meath) - Posts: 19449 - 20/08/2013 19:25:21 1464575 Link 0 |

Mayo this, Mayo that. The reality is that there is very little between the teams. 51 and others are talking very confident talk, if they are correct, well gud luck to them. But if they are not, I wonder will we see them around the forums much after sunday... Donegalman (None) - Posts: 3852 - 20/08/2013 21:12:45 1464683 Link 0 |

Tyrone should wind Mayo up big time on Sunday; get right in their faces, goad them, antagonise them, hit them a few hard whallops in the early mins and ask their players how many All Ireland medals they have. The media are going to bad mouth Tyrone anyway so they may as well actually do something to earn the abuse. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9819 - 20/08/2013 21:27:42 1464705 Link 0 |
Mayo by 5. Realistically is there anything in that Tyrone full forward line to trouble players of the calibre of Cafferkey and Higgins? I don't think so especially without Penrose. I think Mayo will have too much up front for Tyrone as well. Sean Cavanagh stood out in the qualifiers and the quarter final as the talisman. However, he will have no such impact against this opposition at this level as his threat will be negated by Aidan O'Shea who should dominate the skies. Make sure there's a nurse standing by 51; Tyrone boys aren't like you lot; they don't turn their back and run away. Ulsterman (Antrim) - Posts: 9819 - 20/08/2013 21:57:11 1464757 Link 0 |
good boy Ulsterman. Great to see your support of your fellow provincial men. Donegal already tried your suggested tactics and they lost 4-17 to 1-10. If I was a neutral, I'd be advising Tyrone to try something different. Mayo are a more physical team so hitting them won't be of much use. It'll play right into Mayo's hands. Mayo to win by six +. Oh the green and red of mayo............. pdempsey (Mayo) - Posts: 1313 - 21/08/2013 08:09:23 1464772 Link 0 |

Like everything thats went on the last 2 months and the whole circus around Tyrone closer I get to the game more confident I get. All the mayo men on here trying to mouth about your chances Tyrone will be coming to this ready for a war! If we get on top in first 10 mins I can see Mayo crumble. We will do our talking on the pitch come Sunday. This feels like 08 again before we played Dublin redhanddefender (Tyrone) - Posts: 913 - 21/08/2013 09:03:38 1464797 Link 0 |

Far too many spiteful comments on here now, mostly from posters we expect but some from posters who really should know better than to get sucked into these types of 'discussions'. I realise that the nearer we get to Sunday the more the nerves and adrenalin kick in but for the sake of civility lets keep it to the football and lets not besmirch each others county's and come Sunday evening, regardless of the result, be you victor or vanquished, try and retain some class. brendtheredhand (Tyrone) - Posts: 10897 - 21/08/2013 09:17:48 1464810 Link 0 |
Loving the confidence/arrogance from mayo posters. While I do think mayo will come out the other end of this, anyone that thinks it will be more than a couple of points is deluded. Like another poster has said, I get more confident the closer we get as if there's at least a smidgen of that arrogance within mayos panel then they are there for the taking. And in relation to Aidan o Shea ruling the skies, we certainly won't be aiming our lockouts his direction, and on their own I would imagine we will stick our three biggest nuisances in as close proximity to him as possible. Would like to see big joe on him if he's fit. passerby (Tyrone) - Posts: 724 - 21/08/2013 09:23:36 1464814 Link 0 |
Ulsterman, if anyone came on and said about tyrone, or an ulster side, what you are saying about mayo now, you would be crying your eyes out about biases and conspiricies. You are the guy with the bias, an anti-southern bias, not to mention a total hypocrite. From now on, any time you mention a bias I will be referencing this thread and these comments. If mayo have a man sent off early in the game this will suit tyrone, something i'm sure mickey harte will be coaching. Tara_Kings (Meath) - Posts: 128 - 21/08/2013 09:32:34 1464819 Link 0 |
Ulsterman the whole world knows Tyrone will try and get in their faces and frustrate them, god I hope James Horan sees your posts, just in case he is the only man in Ireland that won't be aware of the tactics. TheFlaker (Mayo) - Posts: 8456 - 21/08/2013 09:51:54 1464840 Link 0 |
