Mayo your time has come, yous are hot favourites, for me the past is the past, Monaghan sathurday is your day, yous cant hide behind Cavan. Tyrone, Down, Donegal, Aramagh. Derry,to dine at the top table Sam has to come, hard to believe, what ulster titles donegal, monaghan, tyrone, has all together, Cavan still has more, good luck to all sathurday, sunday, if ulster cant do it, i want Mayo. mchugh11 (Donegal) - Posts: 242 - 01/08/2013 21:26:38 1450265 Link 0 |
Good grief what an article, is there something iffy in the water in Donegal? Because something is polluting their brains. Kevin Cassidy's book, McBreaty Bitegate, targetting of players, "the league doesn't matter to me!" and now collusion on a grande scale involving multiple counties. They read like messages from the Berlin Bunker at the end of the WWII. arock (Dublin) - Posts: 4955 - 01/08/2013 21:35:21 1450273 Link 0 |

Just looks like the Donegal management are trying to take a bit of pressure of their under performing team and its worked while at the same time trying to influence the referee. BigTom2050 (Tipperary) - Posts: 289 - 01/08/2013 21:52:43 1450291 Link 0 |
Jim McGuinness knows exactly what he's at here. The man is a genius and this weeks "outbursts" if you like, will prove to be a masterstroke. I have re-evaluated my thoughts for this game. Donegal to go out all guns blazing and blow Mayo of the park. Sergeant_Slash (Cavan) - Posts: 2182 - 01/08/2013 21:59:34 1450300 Link 0 |
I have to agree with Muckcrosshead, that all this hol-a-bol-loo is about motivating the Donegal players. The greatest danger for Donegal is to start out flat like they did against Monaghan and find themselves behind at half time. Their system does not do very well it seems when they are chasing the game. cacsmckilly (Tyrone) - Posts: 1294 - 02/08/2013 09:13:36 1450330 Link 0 |
I see the Mayo PRO has added his tuppence worth! Hagler/Lewis had less of a build up than this one :-) hurlingdub (Dublin) - Posts: 6978 - 02/08/2013 09:15:03 1450331 Link 0 |

Where is McGuinness's PR guru Brolly these days. He has been pretty quiet on the Donegal front recently. Is he afraid that the Tír Connaill machine could be beaten and is trying to avoid having to down a good dose of humble pie. I recall him earlier in the championship pontificating about the Donegal system/machine/authority call it what you want to the point that other analysts were not getting a word in. kiloughter (Galway) - Posts: 1988 - 02/08/2013 10:48:24 1450438 Link 0 |
We're holding Brolly in reserve for a last attack tomorrow morning!!! MuckrossHead (Donegal) - Posts: 5028 - 02/08/2013 11:02:43 1450453 Link 0 |
