Ha, definitely worked in Dallas in 1963.

Donegal playing smart tactics just as they did on the line when things weren't going their way in carrick On shannon on saturday evening...Mcguinness picking a fight with McNulty(i was there as a neutral donegal coaching staff totally in the wrong) ...They know what they are doing deflecting all the attention away from the players...

This match is set up nicely now I'm sure he is after adding a few 100 on to the gate I myself might stay up now and go to both games!

Ah ...so thats what they were thinking....

Hilarious

Kind of embarrassed for them actually, there must be no one in that set up with any common sense. Unsurprising really, Jim has decided to surround himself with yes men who feed into his theories no matter how ridiculous, instead of a someone who tells him to catch himself on thats just nuts!

Totally hilarious, keep it up lads.

He's reminding me of Jim Corr with these ridiculous comments!

"Mc Guinness picking a fight with Mc Nulty"

You're some "neutral" if you seen that happening.

Big John can I have your version of events from the McGuinness McNulty saga?.I was in Block B row I directly behind McNulty so im intrigued to how you can interpret Donegal as being in the wrong? Im genuinely not being biased Im just wondering did I view it totally wrong as I seen every bit of it from start to finish.

Horan told Malachy the key to beating tyrone - "just do everything we didnt do last year".
This is stupid from the donegal camp, I know they are trying to get the whole us against the world thing going but what they are playing at is so over the top I think it will help Mayo more then Donegal. This will be the first time in a long time I will want to see an Ulster team lose in croke park.

I saw this rubbish this mornning just before going to work & my head dropped as I knew what would happen.

All McGuinness & Gallagher are doing is stoking things so that there is no repeat of the flat start they had against Monaghan. It means nothing & I don't understand why people get so annoyed about it.

It has been going on for years across the water & nobody pays any attention to it but for some reason we go into orbit. For my own part I don't like this mind games stuff but if the management feel it helps get a performance then I'm not going to lose sleep over it either.

The sooner Sunday comes the better.

Its all just chat and adds to the fun.

I think Jim/Rory are trying to make this game as big a spectacle as possible to both motivate their own lads and hope that Mayo crumble under the pressure.

If anything Mayo should be happy, I can't rememeber Jim coming out with anything other than 'we're just happy to be here' type of stuff before a game so for some reason he's worried about this game and it should be a compliment to the Mayo lads.

Not long until the time for talking is done....I hope there's no excuses after this time though!!

The sooner Sunday comes the better as I'm fed up with all the comments about tactics, cynicism, refs etc. If we lose on Sunday we will look ridiculous with these type of comments. If the camp is trying to get the us against them agenda going its certainly working as most neutrals have sided against us this part week.

I agree with you on that Tir Conaill. This all or nothing approach means that I might give HS a miss for a couple of days if we lose!!!.

Seriously though as someone else said it should be seen as a compliment to Mayo that Donegal are doing this.

why would the monaghan team take advice from Mayo who could not beat donegal in the all ireland final. now if it was kerry or dublin who would give advice on how to beat another team. i may believe it but not mayo.

The love in is well and truly over. Let Murphy and the lads to their talking on the pitch. Donegal are a great team who don't need this rubbish being talked prior to the game.

Lets be honest, Donegal aren't good champions.

Tir Chonaill Abú, I think you are right about the management attempting to create a 'Donegal versus the rest' mentality. Indeed it may work! Which would be sad as most people were pleased they won it last year - as most would have been pleased had Mayo won it. It obviously comes down to how they motivate the players but seems to be pretty primitive to me.

Across the water indeed muckross, we did try to
warn you lads about the dangers of combining
Gaelic football with Scottish soccer!
Looks like it is spectacularly backfiring!

That word "champions", doesn't matter how often I hear it, sends a shiver down my spine & puts a smile on my face. Thanks African

And so it should Muckrosshead but I would rather be a good or great champion than a bad one. With the money Donegal spent it would have been a total farce had they not won it last year regardless of the brand of rugby they played.
