Dublin v Cork: Counihan seems to be unsure of his best starting 15 so it's hard to judge this one before the team is announced. In saying that I reckon Dublin should skim past Cork in a cracking game of football.

Kerry v Cavan: Could produce a shock if Cavan get momentum going like we did in 2010, they'll definitely be up for it! However I think Kerry will have better composure and win this one.

Donegal v Mayo: How good are Donegal really? Will Mayo finally get true recognition if they beat Jimmy's forces? Is it Mayo's time to shine or will they be ate up in the hype? Will be the pick of them I reckon with Mayo pinching it

Tyrone v Monaghan: Looking forward to this one! I'd say it'll be tit for tat most of it and it'll come down to the more hungrier, fitter and probably more cynical team in the last 10-15 minutes. Want to tip Monaghan but a wee annoying voice whispering Tyrone

Looking forward to two big days out in Croke Park, hopefully the games will rise to the standard and expectations of all supporters of the teams and the neutrals like myself.

I seen nothing tense about it tbh. Donegal were well ahead for the most part, laois got a few scores in a row but donegal kept them at arms length and rattled off the next 4 scores. I dont see what pressure was on them. Maybe the fans were nervous because of other games, but in this game they were never in danger.

Master, where you at this game? This was a tough game make no mistake about it, regardless off whether you say it was tough or not.

ben1977, what part of what I said isnt accurate? Saying 'it was a tough game' over and over again isnt going to cut it when the fact is donegal had them at arms length throughout and pulled away when they needed to. As I said, fans might have been nervous because of other results, but this game on its own merits was a steady enough win.

Thats how you seen it Master im guessing from the radio / Sunday game and that is fair enough. I saw it completely different at the game to be honest. Tough tense game which was closer than 6pts suggested

Think Dublin will get caught badly in the first 15 minutes but crawl back and win by 2

Mayo to beat Donegal by a clear goal

Monaghan to beat Tyrone by 3 points

Kerry to beat Cavan by 10 points

Cork to beat Dublin. Donegal will probably go to town on Mayo and our neighbours can then quieten down for another year. Tyrone to have too much for Monaghan and Cavan/Kerry is the mismatch of the weekend. In fact Cavan folk shouldn't even bother coming down, then again, its a day out for average Cavan man's family and we all know they don't see many of them :-)

Dublin v Cork = I think the Galway game will do Cork the world of good and I think they'll shock Dublin by a point or 2.

Kerry v Cavan = Kerry will have too much experience in Croker for Cavan but having said that I don't think it will be a hammering.

Monaghan v Tyrone = Monaghan have looked pretty good all year and I'd expect them to beat Tyrone.

Mayo v Donegal = Very hard to gauge either team, Donegal look well off last years pace while Mayo have steamrolled very poor opposition but I think that Mayo are good enough to see off Donegal on this occasion.

So all the provincial winners to go through except the Dubs ;-)

Don't know why people are saying Cork will "shock" Dublin, It wouldn't be a shock at all ?

I don't know about that wanyo, Dublin are favourites for the All-Ireland and 2/5 to beat Cork who are 12/5, I think Cork beating Dublin would be a bit of a shock. Now not a massive shock of course but certainly unexpected, Cork are a big physical team who I think have under achieved by only winning one AI and I think they may just have one sting left in the tail, of course Dublin could just as easy run out 10pt winners but we'll see.

would that be as big a mis-match as the Mayo v Galway game in the first round. Image playing your biggest rivals and not been able to raise your game losing Galway 0-11 Mayo 4-16 at home. I don't know why any of your supporter would ever attend a game again after that slaughtering. sure London put up a better show in Mayo!

Dublin Vs Cork - Winner: Cork

If Meath can clean Dublin out around the middle then I fully expect Cork to do the same. Cork backs are too tight and seasoned to give away silly scores so the combination of these two factors will mean Dublin will come up short.

Kerry vs Cavan - Winner: Kerry

I think Kerry will win Sam this year. Finally have midfield sorted since D O'Se left the scene and the switch of Gooch and Declan O'S has breathed new life into the attack.

Tyrone vs Monaghan - Winner: Monaghan

Tyrone just got over the line against poor enough Kildare, Meath and Roscommon teams and if Monaghan can come close to the Ulster final performance they will power over the line. This is the hardest game to call.

Mayo vs Donegal - Winner: Donegal

Very confident of a Donegal win. Mayo game last year was our easiest in the championship and I think they are a very overrated side, although we are well off the pace of this time last year. Big open spaces of Croker will finally take the shackles off McBrearty, McFadden and Murphy to put up big scores.
