Jim mcguinness preaches about physicality and how someone could get killed... and yet there goes his full back stamping on a players head..

Delighted donegal one trick ponies are getting this beating

I've said it before Donegal defenders can't mark one on one. It's no wonder they play everyone behind the ball but there is only so long you will get out of a team playing like a machine. Donegal don't have a clue what to do when they go behind in a game.
And what will McGuinness have to say about McGee stamping on a player, after him spending the whole week giving out about Gallogly?

If ever a match needed to be on RTE to see what sort of analysis Brolly would provide this is it.

All part of Jimmy's plan to help Donegal come in under the radar next year?

Incredible performance from Mayo though. Like Dublin they strolled through their province without getting out of third gear.

Last night Dublin just did enough to stay comfortable, never really needed to step it up a bit, Mayo today though have a lot more intensity about them. Instead of looking to just do enough to win like Dublin have done over the last two matches they are now going out gung-ho and killing the opposition off completely with no let up.

At the start of the year I would have loved to see a Donegal - Dublin final, Mayo - Dublin now is surely what most neutrals will want.

McGuinness will be outraged by Alan Freeman cynically targeting Eamonn McGee there with a headbutt to the bottom of his boot.

What a rout, 22 points with 13 mins to go. Horan can perform miracles: My 80 year old mother in law from Mayo, who is waiting for hip replacement, is jumping around my sitting room......

Brilliant display by mayo surely they have to be favourites for the ai now ! Good riddance donegal along with tyrone purveyors of all that is bad about gaelic football ! See you in another 20 years maybe the most classless ai winners ever! Good luck in the semi mayo ! Super team.

I notice a lot of different Kildare posters being very gleeful. 2011 was 2 years ago now lads, get over it.

Delighted O'Shea got Man-of-the-Match. He put in a phenomenal shift even after getting booked early on.
Bit silly of him to get sent off at the end though...

No, just happy for Mayo, most neutrals would love to see Mayo win.
Also my mother in law is from Mayo. Also sick of the BS coming from the Donegal management. Colm O'Rourke summed it all up in his piece today.
Also "gleeful" comments from Tyrone, Meath, Dub fans.........but why bother mentioning that

I was very skeptical with regard to Donegal reproducing the same level of intensity they displayed last year. They just looked completely burned out this year. Too many injuries, players not on form and a lack of strength in depth all contributed to Donegal's downfall this year.

However, I fully expect McGuinness to have Donegal primed for another lash at the championship next year.

O'Shea should have that MoM taken off him. Is getting sent off what we want to promote in GAA? I hope not!!

There's a difference between wanting a Mayo win and delight at Donegal's demise. I've noticed the glee coming from all corners but nearly every Kildare post I've seen has been delighted or having digs at Donegal or McGuinness. It's petty and childish, come back to me when you's have any silverware to speak of.

Huge congrats to Mayo, could tell this was more than a quarter final to them as they kept going for the goals. Hard to swallow as a Donegal man but hope you's go all the way now.

When the dust settles. When all is said and done. Even though some people on here have been ungracious to us. I just want to say that I am sorry to see Donegal relinquish there title in this way. They have been good champions. I think they were just too tired today. I think they gave so much that they were literally all out with no more in the tank.
