Superb first half from Mayo. I'd still have concerns over them in certain areas which will be exploited by another side but at present they look the most complete team left at this stage. If Dublin click they are a better balanced side but Mayo are All-Ireland favourites at present. Stuckinthepast (Galway) - Posts: 472 - 04/08/2013 17:01:20 1452405 Link 0 |
Incredible performance so far, no one including my own County will beat Mayo if they they play like this for the full 70 in the Semi and Final. This is a fantastic Mayo team. CaisleanCnucha (Dublin) - Posts: 1379 - 04/08/2013 17:02:12 1452408 Link 0 |
The first three balls that Alan Dillon got were either turned over or misplaced. He wins a breaking ball and gives a 5 yard hand pass and the commentator is saying he is back to his best. If he wins man of the match I give up. Keith Higgins has been great again, Vaughan is playing well too and O'Connor is lethal from the placed balls. Jeez, Malachy O'Rourke must have only been half listening when James Horan was telling him how to beat Donegal! doublehop (Kildare) - Posts: 4172 - 04/08/2013 17:07:43 1452418 Link 0 |
fair play to Liam Hayes for calling a spade a spade. Every time Aidan O'Shea puts in a tackle they are Donegal players doing their best to get him another yellow. McFadden, not for first time, dropped like a ton of bricks holding his jaw when AOS tackled him. Replay clearly shows no contact with his jaw or any part of his head.......worse than cynical, its cheating. Wonder will Brolly Dolly have anything to say on that! commander (Kildare) - Posts: 225 - 04/08/2013 17:07:55 1452419 Link 0 |

I heard James Horan was colluding with the devil last night over a few pints. Killarney.87 (Tipperary) - Posts: 2513 - 04/08/2013 17:19:36 1452435 Link 0 |
Embarrassing stuff from the Champions, can't imagine they'll go forward with McGuinness's ideals, worked for a year but he's taken all the fun out of football. I feel sorry for players like Murphy and McFadden! realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8771 - 04/08/2013 17:19:41 1452436 Link 0 |
What a rout. I never imagined anything like this. RoyalClass (Meath) - Posts: 790 - 04/08/2013 17:20:31 1452437 Link 0 |
Great stuff from Mayo, serious contenders for the All Ireland, and who would begrudge them. PJ (None) - Posts: 2288 - 04/08/2013 17:25:50 1452444 Link 0 |

Not nice to see McGee stamping, very bad stuff and rightfully a red card. CaisleanCnucha (Dublin) - Posts: 1379 - 04/08/2013 17:27:56 1452453 Link 0 |
This is all the southern medias fault obviously!! Completely unfair as everyone knows the first settlements were in Ulster!!! Bosco (Carlow) - Posts: 664 - 04/08/2013 17:27:57 1452454 Link 0 |

After McGuinness/Gallaghers talk all week about the rough play they've been subjected to and how other teams go out to "do" their players, I wonder what they will see about McGee's stamp and subsequent red card? Long.Dub.Glic (Dublin) - Posts: 190 - 04/08/2013 17:29:53 1452458 Link 0 |
