Dublin v Cork

Fair play to the Dubs I fancied Cork for an ambush but Dublin far superior. If they get their shooting boots on they won't be beaten this year.

dublin played the game as was intended best team by a mile in the country.......cork will have to say bye bye to the management if they want to exploit the potential in this team

Jays dubs look real good, fair play to them, and hard luck to cork. Great game.

Dublin missed some amount of goal chances. Could have been well ahead at half-time. Much the better team.

Our full back line is still very bare and we aren't clinical enough going forward, midfield was good today though. Improvement is still needed next round.

At this stage the only team I believe capable of stopping Dublin are Kerry. Dublin would dance through Tyrone's old legs and they would outscore Mayo. Kerry are the team who could stop them.

Dublin still my favourites for AI but missed chances like tonight could be costly against a more committed opposition (Tyrone) another worry for Dublin is the lack of high catching ability in the full back line Cork light weight and easily beaten except for a superb full forward line Counihan steps down

A really tense game but great atmosphere in crocker, Cork never really looked like winning, maybe they had no belief. McCaffrey for Dublin was just brilliant, a lot to work on great bench though, it they win Sam it will be by using that bench.

I see Conor Counihan has stepped down, a gentleman first and foremost good luck.

Thank God it will be Dublin playin Kerry in semis. Not another walkover hopefully. The way the Cork fellas left the pitch all smiles and pats on the back for the Dubs just emphasised the difference between a team like Cork and a team like Tyrone. Tyrone would simply not have allowed themselves to be rolled over and would have shown grit and steel. Of course be gracious in defeat but don't allow yourself to be walked over. And that's why the likes of Kerry fear Tyrone. They'll know they're in a game.

Stephen Cluxton is worth his weight in gold for Dublin.

You absolutely cannot foul Dublin in around the 40 yard line. Cluxton scored 5 or 6 points today for Dublin and what did they win by today? Only for him Dublin would be lost. Two of Dublin's forwards scored today and only Brogan in the full forward line scored from a free. Very poor reflection on Dublin's attack.

However, Dublin's middle third were outstanding especially MDM and McCaffrey. They won a lot of breaking ball and McCaffrey's runs were something to behold. One of the fastest players in the country.

Dublin looking good so far but they probably weren't tested to the limit against Cork. I thought Cork's attack was a bit stale at times and lacked the same sharpness that Dublin had. Cork do look to have regressed an awful lot. A lot of miles on the clock on some of their players especially Alan O'Connor who looked dead on his feet as McCaffrey sprang past him on numerous occasions. He didn't have the legs for MDM either.

Dublin will get their penultimate test against either Donegal or Mayo. I can't see Kerry stopping them.

Not writing Kerry off, just saying that they won't have the legs for them. Dublin are too fast and too athletic.

I feel Kerry midfield and work rate in half forward line will put Dublin more on the back foot than Cork did tonight. Alan O connor was off the pace of the game in midfield all night until taken off. When Kissane came on at half time he pushed up on the Dubs causing them problems.
I have a feeling Kerry are waiting in the long grass. The big problem they have and which Dublin will exploit is that they are wide open at centre back

Kerry are better in defence and better all round team than Cork. Kerry v Dublin is a real 50/50 game IMO and the winner will likely go on to win the All Ireland.
