Donegal v Laois

Markymark.. I do hope you's put in a good display sat evening but I would like to see Donegal winning that one. Us Ulster Folk do like to stick together. :)
However, if you start comparing results, in the space of a few weeks, Louth beat Laois by 10 points, Wexford then beat Louth and Laois then beat Wexford.! so that sort of logic doesn't work, its all on the day and who wants it the most.! I think Donegal will want it more on Saturday evening to redeem themselves for last Sunday. Apologies if I was dismissing Laois but I'd consider it a shock if they do win, the same way Monaghan were dismissed last Sunday and it was a shock (to people outside Monaghan) when they won.
Almost everyone was dismissing Monaghan last week but I didn't see it as disrespect, I think a lot of Monaghan people enjoyed it as we knew we were in with a great chance as we knew there was a lot in this team.
Anyway, Monaghan proved last Sunday that its all on the day ! Justin McNulty is a sports psychologist so he should get Laois up for this one. ;)

Nelson... very well put.... it's hard to argue against capacities when we ourselves opted for a smaller venue previously, however, we didn't want to concede home advantage in that case... anyway, its in carrick, get wee town, should be great craic sat nite... no point moaning about it any more, 4 days is enough...

in fairness now how big of a draw would laois be for the less hardcore Donegal fans?

No harm to you Horse but the truth is that Laois are no draw at all, it's Donegal they are going to see.

Culmore the three games in Croker are on Premier Sports channel 428 on Sky.
Tyrone Meath on RTE at 7
As for Donegal Laois it's the wireless I'm afraid.

I would like to wish our neighbours laois the best of luck in the game today, No team with footballers the calibre of Padraig Clancy and Ross Munnelly can ever be written off as no hopers, best of luck lads.

Just heading out the door with offspring in tow.

Looking forward to a good game & just hope it stays dry!! I was in Letterkenny yesterday & witnessed the mother of all downpours with thunder & lightning for good measure.

More nervous about this than last Sunday but heres hoping.

The sun looks to be shining over the bay Muckross. Enjoy. I'm working sadly and as good as I am behind a wheel Carrick - Carrick in 30 minutes is beyond me. Unless Jimmy can sort us that helicopter.

Real tough ask for our lads I feel. Donegal will be fired up to show last Sunday was a once off and I am fearful of a hammering here. The thoughts of Murphy and McFadden against our full back line fills me with dread.
Having said that the boys have come back well since the beating by Louth so I would expect there be some sort of confidence there, Ross is also flying at the mo. Need a massive game from Clancy and O'Loughlin in the middle.
If they put in a 100% effort there's always a chance!

Almost 20 mins gone and only 2 scores 0 1 - 0 1, not too surprising with too defensive teams. Anybodys game it seems.

Sounds like laios's heavy tactics are not working out so far.Jimmy's getting involved on the sideline.I thought Ryan bradely would suit his centre half forward role but seems to be giving away a lot of Ball.
