SFC Qualifiers Round 3 & 4 Draw

I was thinking the same. I've given up hope of Down ever getting a home draw in the Ulster championship, and we've had our fair share of Qualifier away days too. Though don't get me wrong, I love traveling around the country following Down, and it's no fun being out of the championship this early.

Kildare are unbeaten in the Qualifiers under McGeeney, but I can't get their mediocre performance vs Dublin out of my head, they looked so out of their depth against a top 3 side. I think Tyrone will have too much for them, though my predictions have been shocking so far this championship.

Where will London v Derry/Cavan be played?

Should London be rewarded with a game in Croker for their exploits so far this year?

Would love to see Tyrone v Meath and Cork v Armagh in Round 4, would be a great potential doubleheader in Croker!

Well I think if either of these come to pass they should play 3 games and give London their day in Croker. Its Neutral enough for them isnt it, and they can fly into Dublin and stay overnight at Croke Park. Dont think anyone would begrudge their footballs a run out in Croker after their year.

Laois have started each of their 3 championship games very poorly. No disrespect to Carlow or Clare but Wexfords forwards will punish us if we do the same again. If we can break even in the first 20 minutes and hold their forward line I think we could push on. Its a big ask in Wexford park.

Well if Derry manage to overcome the cavan challenge, surely the neutral venue for the 4th round fixture will have to be londonderry.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Playing the London game in Croke Park is a great idea, open up the turnstiles and let everyone in for free.

It would be a fantastic marketing opportunity.

Yup, and try and get a bit of wider publicity too in the UK based on the uniqueness of the occasion.

thats a fair point, also london are sponsored by bewleys hotel which they stay in at the airport roundabout of the m50 so would be easier for all concerned.

It would be a long day, but at €25/30 a ticket wouldnt it be a great way for any GAA fan to spend the day.
