Clare v Wexford, Waterford v Kilkenny

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Great comeback by Wexford, should have been dead and buried, some week for Jack Guiney. The wides from Clare were shocking though, they should have been out of site. Extra time will be interesting, its a warm evening.

I feel a little sorry for the Waterford and Kilkenny players. If the GAA are going to fix double headers, especially in the evening, then I'm not sure if extra time should be an option.

If cork lose tomorrow do they automatically play winners of Waterford Kilkenny as they have already played Clare or is it open draw all round

It appears that waterford cannot buy a free.. ref playing a lit of advantage to waterford however kilkenny seem to get frees more easily

If Cork lose they play Waterford (or Kilkenny) leaving Clare vs Galway. If Cork win Limerick can play either Clare or Waterford(Kilkenny). You can play a team for the 2nd time in the semi's but provincial winner's don't meet until the final.

Waterford lucky to be level. Kilkenny have far more bite but are hitting too many wides.

Wouldn't go along with that. Waterford players cant keep up with the cats and are having to foul them. kilkenny players are just great tacklers.
They'll win the AI again this year.

Kilkenny have hit loads of wides too hill, and they too are making mistakes which they probably wont repeat, and their two best players are getting game time, and the chances are they will improve as the season goes on.
Who are your favourites?

they remind me of kerry in 2009 limping throught the qualifiers and well hoping to come alive when they reach croke park.
id have dublin as favs on form surely.
but even if kilkenny are favs on reputation 11/10 is terrible odds judging by the 5 championship matches they have played to date.

Its an open championship but for me the cats are still slight favourites. Maurice Shanahn will have nightmares if wateford don't win. He missed quite a few frees.

they have repeated these mistakes all summer, thats 5 matches and no improvement in most other years they wouldnt even need to play 5 matches to win the all ireland never mind make a quarter final
