Them dubs have short memories, sure they cant remember the greatest come back of the modern era.

This is frankly a silly and patronizing thread. If Dublin win the next 3 AI's in a row it will then make sense. As for now it makes none, other than serving the purpose of making certain posters feel better about themselves should we lose in this years championship.

Westmeath have a more talented squad than Meath, fair play. I haven't seen them play all year to be honest, didn't see the Dublin game. When is their next championship game so I can have a look at these players, is it on TV does anyone know? Might miss it if it's on the same weekend as the Leinster final.

And remember Dublin have a poor midfield and their defence is untested on the back foot. This will be their downfall in the semi final

Seany , Dublin are favorites for a reason , they look awesome and sure according to most Dubs, Mayo were 'lucky' last year. The point of this thread was seeing as man to man don't seem to work, what is the alternative to beat this excellent team. Don't see what's patronizing about it.

Every team is beatable, including the the unbeatable Dubs, I'm not for one second saying we are going to beat the Dubs but I think we can beat them and you should never apologise for having belief in your team, if you don't have belief in sport then how can you have any interest?

Who said Mayo were lucky or isthis just another case of words being put into the mouths of Dubs supporters? Apparently most Dubs think this. Where did they say this?

Like most of the threads on Hoganstand in relation to Dublin GAA, but hey if it makes our country cousins feel better banging those dell keyboards in frustration and anger I'm willing to turn a blind eye and at least engage with them at their level. Everyone from Mayo to Down can get their two bob worth of opinions... point out we have a sh*t midfield, our backs can't run as fast running backwards... we are two loose, to many forwards, we where beaten by Mayo last year...

Joxer , Dubs that I worked with last year stated they were lucky,I see your waiting to pounce. Relax man. Yourself Joxer would be of the belief that Kildare were naive and you have certainly slated our tactics before. If open man to man don't work , then what does. Try a different reply than 'this is embarrassing'.

jimbodub, lol - yeah, you got me. In fairness, it's a bad record, three losses and one draw I think.

We've a team of young lads enjoying their football , who are told to go out and express themselves, anyone playing well consistantly in training get a shot. How far that gets us who knows,
We could get smothered by Donegal or Tyrone, Kerry in the long grass being played down by their supporters have still some of the best players in Ireland and could teach us a lesson, Mayo with a settled team and some exceptional players could easily do the same,Cork some great players also.
Then we will be told we were naive.
At the moment we've to worry about how to stop Meath and everything else is irrelevant.
