They are representing London,it is not and international sporting event between 2 nation states and it is not being hosted in the British city.Add to that the fact that the Irish lads on the team would most certainly not want it played and you come to the conclusion that the eejit who started this discussion is just looking to provoke and he has succeeded.........so well done to him.

was at the game in Carrick and was disappointed when the stewards would let me hang up my Union Jack with Lonodn Boys on Tour. I hope the stewards in McHale Park are a bit more undertsanding.

That will be no problem mate. This could be a great occasion made special by our willingness to embrace our Britishness.

Sadly the Ashes are going to be on the same time as the match so unfortunately those crazy English fans known as the Barmy Army shall not be attending.

1422157 At the New York game in the Connacht Championhip, the American National Anthem is played along with the Irish national Anthem before the championship match. Wouldnt it be a great symbol and sign of respect if God Save the Queen was played along with the Irish National Anthem before the Connacht Final. There have been calls for the Mayor of London to attend the match. Playing God save the Queen would be a mark of great respect to him and the London team.

Follow the hash tag #playgodsavesthequeenincastlebar on twitter and lets hope GAA HQ and the Connacht council hears us and gives this mark of respect to the London team.

----

If Kerry play in McHale would they play "Up the Kingdom?"

Chas and Dave are writing the London Team song. A mix between Jimmys winning Matches and London are on their way Croker.

I do wonder about proposals like this as to the motivation. Are people just ignorant or are they setting out to purposely hurt and offend people.

Its the only reason, you can read these peoples contributions on any online discussion forum, you can almost see the smirk through their silliness.
