If you watch Seo Sport on TG4 Darragh O'Cinneide even though acting as a presenter is actually a very good analyst.

Agree on DoC , would love to see Anthony Tohill back fit and well on TV , leave hurling panel alone as its pitch perfect

In general the panel on Seo Sport is better than the RTE lads, they can actually have fair discussions. I really enjoy the hurling lads on RTE though.

i'm gone absolutely sick of the way every rte analyst seems determined to get maximum media exposure by peddling an agenda every week.yes wexford were indisciplined and i felt we crossed the line in the first half, but there was not a dirty stroke in the 2nd half of the match, yet michael duignan suggested a dublin player was 'afraid' at the end of the match to go into a challenge is false, unfair and misleading as to the conduct of the players in the 2nd half.there was no mention of eoin moore having his helmet ripped off and receiving repeated and sustained blows to the head in the melee early in the game.he certainly made wexford look like a bunch of tramps-bar one or two incidents which the referee dealt with, the game was played in a sporting manner.

also des cahill said the dublin players he was talking to didnt have a problem with it,yet duignan pushed on with his anti-wexford agenda which portrayed wexford in a completely unfair light.

Perfect10 I was talking to a former Wexford player this morning who said "I am just glad there was none of that the last few years, although what do we expect when we have Liam dunne in charge. to be honest, we're lucky only one went".

I don't know about pulling out of tackles etc but those two slaps were shockingly bad...

Ciaran McDonald from Mayo. Padraig Joyce from Galway. Martin O'Connell from Meath. Mattie Forde from Wexford. Declan Browne from Tipperary. Mickey Linden from Down. Colin Corkery from Cork.

RTE should be looking for all-time greats to be on their panel. The guys they get on, with a few exceptions like O'Rourke and Spillane, are not all-time greats. Martin Carney, McStay, Anthony Davis, Joe Brolly, these guys weren't all time great players or managers, far from it. So to listen to them lecture intercounty managers and players is ridiculous.

The hurling panel has things far better. Loughnane, Farrell, O'Grady were great managers. Eddie Brennan and Paul Flynn were great players. As a result there is none of the ridiculous, spiteful and embarrassing carry on the hurling panels. If I could add anyone to the hurling panel, I'd look at Joe Dooley from Offaly, Joe Cooney from Galway, Tommy Dunne from Tipperary, Tom Dempsey from Wexford is on the radio and is very good.

Why should it only be top players, coaches on sunday game panel. Just because you were not a top manager/coach or player does not mean you are not a good analyst of the game. They are perfectly entitled to make opinions

KKid i agree with you that both were shocking bad hits, shore had to walk but i dont think sinnott was trying to do anything other than play the ball.
regarding liam dunne in charge, that is an unfair and unwarranted attack.liam dunne managed a very hard, physical and fair oulart team for 2-3 years and you could count on one hand the number of such incidents they were involved in,either in wexford or leinster.
if you had the end of a broken hurl dug into your ribs, would you not be steaming about it?

Dara O'Cinneide seems a cut above the rest, maybe just too sensible for RTE!

Dara is very good.
I've enjoyed Ricey anytime I've heard him on Newstalk.

I think Graham Norton, he hasn't a clue about the game, controversial and he's an "wntertainer"? isn't what we all want?

Because if I wanted to listen to drivel or the likes of Brolly or McStay I'd go to the pub and ask a random person there what they thought.
