Is this Mayo's year?

It could be, they have a better chance than the bookies are giving them.

I would like to see Mayo win, we're all tired of the Dublins, Corks and Kerrys of this world

Come on MAYO,

The Green and Red of Mayo
I can see it still
It's soft and craggy bogland
It's tall majestic hills
Where the ocean kisses Ireland
And the waves carress it's shore
The feeling it came over me
To stay forever more
Forever more

Hopefully they'll get to the final, and if they can still be in the game with 60 minutes to go, theyre in with a right chance.

I pray to god I will live to see the day.....every year.

I think character can be measured in how someone fails and how often they pick themselves up when they have fallen and rise to the challenge again. We have been doing this for 20 odd years now and its time we knocked that door down. Might not be this year but who know's

They should make the semi-final without any fuss.

I'd expect them to be beaten by Donegal at that stage though. I don't see what they've done to close the gap since last year.

Could well be. They have a very impressive product.

Kerry and Tyrone are still the teams that we are used to seeing winning Sam on a regular basis. But the last 6 have been won by different counties. Soon we will b sick of different teams winning.

1400796 No. There are two sides to the unlucky story. One they are unlucky to lose so many finals. But two they are lucky to be getting to so many finals by virtue of having an easier path to the final. If Mayo had to play in Ulster I don't think they'd make half the number of All Ireland Finals that they have.

Possibly, but in my opinion we would probably have won at least one as well.

With Cillian O'Connor badly injured it wouldn't seem so.

Yes

as said before it points towards a Donegal Mayo semi final. Mayo have the intensity, workrate and forwards(should all be back fit by then) to match DOnegal. Think its about a 50/50 game so if Donegal are 7/2 and Mayo are 8/1 for Sam. Mayo are the value

They'd beat Dublin or COrk in the final, they'd lose to Kerry though

It can be,and i hope the do, but these onesided matches in Connaght wont help them on the bank holiday weekend in August, when the real Championship starts!

I think this is the year, miles ahead of every team in Connacht and only in second gear. Building for game 4 in August!
