Seamus Moynihan was more renowned as a centre back. This is a hard position to pick as there are some great players like Joe Keohane, Darren Fay, Paddy O Brien, Graham Canty, Mick Lyons. Based on the amount of medals he has won I would pick Joe Keohane with Mick Lyons a close second aidan64 (Kerry) - Posts: 673 - 06/06/2013 10:57:18 1400014 Link 0 |

So many great players to choose from; Joe Keohane who was picked on Millennium Team, The Iron Man From Rhode AKA Paddy McCormack, Kerry's last natural full back John O' Keeffe, Mick Lyons was a beast for Meath, and then Francie Bellew. I won't consider Moynihan as it wasn't his natural position. Cute_Kerry_Hoor (Kerry) - Posts: 2518 - 06/06/2013 11:03:33 1400019 Link 0 |

Even though I am an Armagh man I have to nominate Francie Bellew Stephen O'Neill in 2005 Ulster final was the only time i saw him get truly destroyed! ArmaghinWarwick (Armagh) - Posts: 26 - 06/06/2013 11:29:59 1400047 Link 0 |

ok Fullback; There are some classic full backs out there; Mick Lyons, Sean Doherty, John O'Keeffe, Darran Fay, Francis Bellow, even though he was played in a number of positions I'd have to go with Seamus Moynihan, his displays in the early 2000's at teh edge of the square were unreal, he captained the all ireland and won player of that year in 2000. My choice Seamus Moynihan Horsebox77 (Kerry) - Posts: 5491 - 06/06/2013 11:35:24 1400052 Link 0 |
