Are we at number 2 now? well it has to be Harry Keegan winner of three All-stars that's some going for Roscommon player!

+1 one hell of defender and he played against some of the best forwards ever.

I'm pretty sure Enda Colleran filled this position in a "Team Of The Millenium" one of the papers did around the turn of the century, though I'm open to correction on that.. Back then, Marc O'Se would have just been starting out on his inter-county career (and how illustrious it proved to be), so I suppose it's a choice between those two.. I'll say Colleran, purely out of bias.

Think we should be voting outside our own counties to get a truer picture of best in each position , so ...........1 John O'Leary and 2 Mark O'Se.

That's a fair point beal, this would be a more balanced competition if people couldn't vote for their own players because no matter how hard you try, you're always going to favour your own.

Don't like the idea at all

As mentioned, its an internet forum so will be recent dominated. .and population of each county will lead to bias - see cluxton nomination, prime example

Said this yesterday, response i got and a galway man that agreed with me was that meath and galway had more posters than Dublin and wr should get them off county forum and onto main one to vote for our ones.
My point while i mentioned dub was not solely reflected of them, just using example. Think it's would probably be hard though to govern as you have uk, usa all. Etc so impossible to know county alliance.
But sure its only a bit of fun during these sunny days

For the attention of Cavanman47

A-- there are 3 times as many Cavan posters on these boards as there are Kerry people.

B--the majority of people who voted foe Marc O Se at number two were not from Kerry, on most occasions ability does matter to most neutrals.

Oh by the way MeathSouth97 and Biglimosinbull are barred. Walkinglunch box is close to same and I wish one or two people would stop talking absolute rubbish, including a poster from Meath.

I think Marc O' Se fouls alot. (as most defenders do nowadays) I would go for Robbie O'Malley of Meath.

ok Fullback; There are some classic full backs out there; Mick Lyons, Sean Doherty, John O'Keeffe, Darran Fay, Francis Bellow, even though he was played in a number of positions I'd have to go with Seamus Moynihan, his displays in the early 2000's at teh edge of the square were unreal, he captained the all ireland and won player of that year in 2000. My choice Seamus Moynihan
