Dublin v Kildare

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

Hard to see anything less than a six point victory for Dublin. The strength of the panel sees them going the whole 70 minutes and in the last 10 minutes Dublin will push on.

Scored a young one from Dublin last night so along with this and their hurlers win my attitude to them has softened this morning. Still if we get stuck into them you never know.

Might not have much to do with it but then it could. Best of luck to all today. Not sure who I'll shout for as i hold both counties in the same regard.
but sure we'll see which supporters are urging on this new exciting era for the royals.
Good luck and may the best team win.

And the answer to the above for one an all is Up Wexford!

To all Kildare fans no one gave Dublin a chance against Kilkenny and we all know what happened yesterday so you never know. Ah Defril she must have been locked surely?

Hope it's a good tight game, Kildare need to marshal the inside forwards in the first 10-15 minutes otherwise Dublin could run amuck. Mcgeeney has taken these lads to the well and come so close, could today be the day that they finally get the Dublin monkey off their back? Heart says yes, head say Dublin by 6 or 7. Dublin -4 in the handicap betting looks like it could be bet of the day.

I just hope we give them a game of it. We are too wide open at the centre of defence to beat any top team, but I hope it's not too much of an annihilation for the sake of the young lads coming through. I dislike Dublin hugely but you'd have to admire the brand of football they play. Gilroy's shackles are off and in a few months they have gone to be one of the most attacking teams ever. I'd be sceptical about the choice of referee for today though. I can't see us getting many 50/50 decisions. I hope I'm wrong.

Many reasons stemming from being carried out on the cusack stand in tears in the Leinster finals of 1992 and 1993!

After today it will be intriguing to see what Dublin will do when the likes of Donegal lay the blanket out infront of them. The way Dublin play isn't the traditional way at all, it's better to watch than that and it would be great if it is the way to beat the blanket defence.

Laughable defending from both teams, and some people call that "wonderful positive football".

And worse again the forwards are trying to score when the get the chance instead of handpassing it backwards.
Dublin should get everyone behind the ball now and protect their two point lead.

Much better game than the first one in all fairness!
The atmosphere makes it sound mush better than it is
in all fairness though! Either of these teams will
hammer meath in the final.
