Over the past 2 years ,Dublin have won an all ireland a league and a couple of leinsters, not bad for a team that doesnt have a settled unit. doublehop (Kildare) - Posts: 4172 - 23/06/2013 19:57:04 1413612 Link 0 |
It's really your failure to land an O'Byrne Cup. superbluedub (Dublin) - Posts: 2848 - 23/06/2013 20:06:42 1413617 Link 0 |
Yes doublehop, the elusive O'Byrne Cup,it's but a distant memory now when Jayo sunk the mighty Longford with two last minute goals and it culminated with the realization of my soul's desires. realdub (Dublin) - Posts: 8808 - 23/06/2013 20:19:38 1413629 Link 0 |
Looking forward to next Sunday now, Meath v Wexford should be a good game to watch beforehand , mind you anything would be better than that rugby league effort of a game yesterday. At least one thing is for sure Kildare and Dublin will play Gaelic football the way it's suppose to be played. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 24/06/2013 12:20:15 1414111 Link 0 |

Thanks for posting that link lilywhitemagic. Great memory. Hadn't seen the halftime studio commentary before. Be interesting to hear what they said afterwards. lilywhite1 (Kildare) - Posts: 3038 - 24/06/2013 12:58:55 1414159 Link 0 |

Haha Jesus how mentally weak was that Dublin team? Only scored 1 point in the 2nd half Jesus that was a heartbreaking era for Dublin football , and lets be honest it was wasn't a great Kildare team either, a few good players but nothing special actually Buckley was one of the best footballers I ever seen but other than him only average. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 24/06/2013 13:08:43 1414174 Link 0 |
Buckley wasn't even on that team! beir_bua (Kildare) - Posts: 746 - 24/06/2013 13:12:27 1414185 Link 0 |

Glad to hear the Dubs finally writing off the likes of Collie Moran, Ciaran Whelan, Dessie Farrell, Jim Gavin and Jason Sherlock. Were well and truly overrated and were well beaten in the second half by an average but vastly superior Kildare side. doublehop (Kildare) - Posts: 4172 - 24/06/2013 13:35:02 1414226 Link 0 |

Rainbow, Ryan and Willie were good but nothing special, it was an average Kildare team that needed outside players to make the break through. clondalkindub (Dublin) - Posts: 9926 - 24/06/2013 13:45:00 1414246 Link 0 |
