51 read Dara o Se's write up in the times after last years all semi final against Mayo.

Honestly cara, i don't have to read anything, i just have to remember Kerry in 11. I'm not going derailing a thread going over it all again, i firmly believe Kerry were robbed.

Judge Judy and Jeremy Kyle? Are they part of the dublin backroom team now? Ye'd need a judge with the stuff on and off the field nowadays.

To be fair I feel since 2011 when Mcquillan was put in charge of four of the Dubs championship games(kerry final) and since James Horan came out and spoke about the Dubs and Mcquillan.

There are always going to be questions marks hanging over him and the Dubs when his appointment is made now.
Look it Kildare are going to go out there and do their best. What more can you ask of a team.

No way. I don't mean any disrespect to Meath but they are a poor enough side at the moment - in a rebuilding stage without question. Kildare have more talent and have a better blend of youth and experience. I think Dublin would tear Meath apart even on a bad day and despite the mental boost that Meath would get from playing the Dubs at croker. Whereas Kildare are genuinely capable of rolling us over with tactics and talent. Kildare are a top 5 side. Meath are top 15.

Joxer, why would you fear a kildare team that never beats you? Are kildare more likely to beat dublin than meath?, any hard evidence to support this, like say a kildare win over dublin in the last decade? Meath did hammer ye a few years back no?

Well I've been looking for an excuse for when we lose this and now I finally have it. I can relax now.

Always someone else's fault when Kildare are bet, never the fact that they've never been good enough.

Too right. Bit like the whinging you did when Mayo beat ye last year. And you're still going on about it. Let it go man it can't be good for you.

The only reason Kildare haven't beaten Dublin in the championship since July 2000 is simply because they weren't good enough and nothing to do with refs etc....just like Dublin weren't good enought when we lost in 98 and 2000.

God Sedico you've never been so wrong, bring up the Mayo v Dublin semi final thread and you'll see me congratulating them and saying "it's win at all costs" and Mayo did what they had to do to win. Mayo people will back me on that one, I admired what they did in last years semi final and I let that be known.

My prediction for this game has changed, i have watched a couple of videos last night of Dublin and i would think MCgeaney knows a lot more than i do. There is ways through that Dublin defensive set up, they can be exposed whether Kildare have the ability to do it , is another question, they were unconvincing v Offaly but the game was never in doubt either.

Kildare by a point or two and championship to be turned on its head. By golly these Kildare boys will be annoying on the 8th July if this happens.

I'm guessing that you don't go to many Kildare games or look at league tables very often. Kildare beat us in the O'Byrne Cup Final this year. They also hockeyed us in Newbridge last year. 'Never beats us'. I don't think so.
They are also 10 + places above Meath in terms of the league and Meath don't have a fraction of the talent of Kildare. Kildare have also beaten Donegal, Mayo, Kerry and Cork this year. Many would say that this 4 are top 6 teams yet Kildare have beaten all of them. Would you not agree that on this evidence they are to be feared or are ye waving the white flag of surrender also?
