Dublin v Kildare:

Dublin 1/4 Kildare 4/1

The bookies don't get it wrong.

King of jacks, if you don't mind me asking? Where is the hype about us coming from? I've seen very little, if anything in the media about us winning Sam(we are up there with 4-5 other teams though) Most fans aren't spouting out that we are definitely going to win Sam, we will be there or there abouts come the business end but so will several other teams.
As for the match on June 30th. Dublin by 5-6 points for me.

who will Dublin/Kildare want to play in the leinster final? personally if meath get to the final id prefer to play Dublin because games between us are always exciting and I couldn't listen to the Kildare fans if they actually managed to beat the dubs..

Like we had to listen to Meath after beating Wicklow. Bla bla Biggy, bla bla potential Leinster Champions, bla bla we'll beat the Dubs.

king of jacks 'when they don't get things their way they choke a bit'-hilarious, what does that make us who never beat a big team! Dubs have what, 7 leinsters in ten years? would be great if kildare could 'choke' like them!!

Sedico no meath supporter said we would beat the dubs and no one said we would win leinster. Now everyone is in awe of Graham Reilly. And your post stinks of jealousy that he's not living in kildare or cavan.

All the talk is about Dublin for this one. In the last 2 Championship meetings in 2009 and 2011 (games you could argue Kildare left behind them, 2009 in particular) there would've been a lot more talk about a Kildare win coming into the game. I think this is a major bonus for Kildare this time around.

This is a young Dublin team playing a new system with a new manager.

I still expect that the Dubs will do enough to win but I can't help but think that this game is set up for the Lillies.

To be honest the ref won't influence the winning or losing of this one.

Unless of course he sends of four or five Dubs and gives us half a dozen peno's.

We might have a chance then.

You've got your excuses ready anyway. The white flags of surrender are already fluttering.
This one is setup for Kildare. They won't need much motivation from Geezer to play the Dubs in a packed Croke Park with a chance to stick it to the Hill. Still think they have problems up front though with an ageing, but capable, Doyle, no James Kavanagh (was always a danger man) and Seanie on the bench, having demonstrated more skill with the small ball than the large one in recent times.

I fancy Kildare though, especially if they get their tactics right and the Dubs start slowly.

I think it makes a big big difference was the referee not the differece in Kildare V Dublin 2011?? yes he was in the end.
Kevin Mc stay mentioned the referee on the Cavan V fermanagh game at the weekend the referee interpretation will be vital in the game.if it doesnt make a difference why did he refer to it?

you have to wonder too why did james horan feel the need to mention this referee and fairness when Mayo played Dublin semi final last year.
Funny how I seen this appointment coming I am not going to keep going on about it but it seems to me any big Game Dublin are involved in you can be guaranteed that their in house ref (Joe Mc Quilian) will be put in charge in the majority and well I was spot on.

in fairness Biggy deserves the praise he is getting. Nobody went over board with our win over Wicklow. We got over a potential banana skin and everyone is happy. We all know we need to step it up for Wexford we fear playing nobody in Leinster. How they haven't won Leinster in the last few years is beyond me. I'm just thinking they start thinking about getting revenge on the Dubs and forget about Meath.

Cormac Reilly refereed some of Kildare's in house games. His appointment didn't do us much good in 2011.

Sick of this constant moaning about referees from some Kildare fans. We have been hard done by a few times recently but what county hasn't at some stage? McQuillan will not decide the outcome of the game.

Yes sedico he is.
Fairplay to you joxer I Think Kildare can spring a suprise ( I must be the only kildare poster on here that does)but they will have to play out of their skins and put in the best performance all year for 70 min.
If Kildare did manage to win id fully expect Dublin to make the semi's through the qualifier's and that might not be a bad thing for them either playing a number of games and gaining momentum week by week.
