Derry have absolutely bottled it.

derry struggling in midfield more than up front. Down doing very well on the breaks. Down are giving some gret passes into the forwards then running off the at pace. Some good scores.

This is getting beyond a joke ,with players too close to the free kick taker. Its happening too much.

Thats that, im afraid i was getting carried away in the first half. Derry hadnt the conditioning in the last twenty mins, wayward passing down to lack of fitness levels , slowed down a lot too. Down are not defensive enough to win a q/f in August.

Fancied Derry today. Even still said all along I fancied the winners of Donegal/Tyrone to get caught in the semi. Down more than capable of beating Donegal.

Have you ever seen such a gutless turn around? a 10 point swing.

More chance of London winning Sam Maguire than Donegal losing to Down. Murphy and McFadden might get a hatrick each.

Good win for Down but that defense will be exposed by the better teams. They were ran ragged at the back in the first half but fought back well in the end where they got a fold hold in midfield. They wouldn't be a challenge to Donegal though.

Strange to see Derry move Eoin Bradley out the field in second half. Was scoring for fun in first half and then moved out in second half to midfield where he could no longer make an impact.

Tyrone did this last week with Stephen O Neill and didnt work then either. Opposition must be delighted so see the Star Forward moved away from the forward line.

Well if you think that I'll be throwing my mortage onto Down as you and your fellow county man 'The Master' are never right. About anything.
