Well done London

square_ball_69 - poor lad, maybe you should petition for westmeath to be moved to connacht. Hell we could even re-route the Shannon.

For the record - it would be great if ye do beat Dublin but I think the Dubs will coast Leinster as they do most years.

great result for London but I feel sorry for Sligo. It was going to happen some day. London were getting closer and closer and they were well prepared this year and fitter than before. even so they could have easily lost it at the death (which probably would have been unfair) Sligo were running through them in the last 5 mins and struck the crossbar with the last kick of the game. If it had to go to extra time Sligo surely would have won it. It's not really fair condeming Sligo. Give London some credit They have some big stong players including Gottsche and Mulvey who would get on quite a few County teams. It's not fair on London having to travel "abroad" for the connacht semi-final. As someone mentioned on here If Leitrim beat them then Leitrim will have reached a provincial final without having played an Irish county. one for the quiz-masters in years to come.

Ah yew_tree getting into the last 12 of the Championship every two years without having to beat a team in the top 2 divisions does sound tempting but I think we're as well to keep chirping away at a province where we're the second most dominant team in the last 9 years.

Galway - Divsion 2 side - have to play All-Ireland finalists (and contenders) straight away - crushing defeat into 1st round of the qualifiers.

Pretty tough in Connacht for some!!

A successful London is good for the GAA and timely too as soccer was beginning to flourish in the city.

Very good win for London. I think Jarlath Burns actually predicted this result a while ago on Sunday game.

Would be good to see strong London team adding something different to the World Series.

great performance by Lonodn yesterday, Mulvey at Gottische were savage, Paul Geraghty came on towards the end to sure up teh midfield and relieve some of the pressure. Were clinging on a bit at the end and almost blew it when sligo hit the crossbar in the last minute. Will have no fear of Leitrim teh next day, but being away from Ruislip limits chances of another win. Sligo were woeful yesterday, kept passing when they should have been kicking, when they did kick generally their accuracy was terrible.

What a result yesterday! I woke up with such a hangover I had to check online that London actually won!

Was great to see so many people supporting London at Ruislip. In years gone by it would be 90 per cent away supporters. There's chat of a bus being arranged for the semi-final in Carrick!

Congratulations to London and to Paul Coggins. Himself and the new International Rules manager Paul Earley are former students of Ballyhaunis Community School.

Difference is we'll have to beat 2 more teams of real quality. Ye would have to beat Leitrim or London, not to mention Dublin are better than Mayo.

Well maybe Westmeath need to watch the video of the Mayo v Dublin All Ireland semi final to see how to beat a side that are better than you?

Also The best teams in the country are always there come August and September no matter what the provincial structures may be like.
