Its one of those games where i dont want there to be a winner. Can't they both just lose???
Anyway ill go for a louth win, id love to rub a wee bit of salt into those old wounds

Good man Royaldunne hows she cutting? I hope your tuning in to Lmfm tomorrow. Ill get Colm Corrigan to give you a mention on the radio.

Would be great to get to a Leinster Semi V Meath, but Longford might have a say
in that and Wexford will also be waiting in the long grass for Sundays winners.
Louth have responded well to new management in recent times and seem
to have more purpose about them under ORourke, 2010 LF v Meath under Fitzer. 2007 Div2 v Donegal under McEneaney.
Heres hoping for a day in the sun in portLaoise.

2006 under big Mac. In his first season they beat Donegal in the Divison two league final after a replay. They lost to Meath in the first round of the championship after leading four points at half time and not scoring in the second half. They nearly beat the All Ireland championships back then Tyrone in the quailifers. Drew the first game and lost the replay. They also won the Tommy Murphy cup that year.

Ah Ollie only having a mess :)
Actually think a meath v louth semi and dub v kildare would be a great day in Croker plus ir be sell out.
But lot of football to be played before, hears hoping.

Laois were something like 8 points up v Longford last year at half time and ended up losing by one. If Laois dont underestimate Louth, which after our hard fought draw during the league fresh in the memory, I'd be hugely surprised if they did and I'd expect a win.. Always tight games between these two teams but 3 years in Mcnulty has a bench of some quality and I predict Laois to close out a 3+ point win in O Moore park.. Hopefully!

As usual your 100% correct Ollie, 2007 we also had a good run, gave the rebels a scare in the qualifiers.
All that stands between us is the fact that McNulty has been conditioning Laois for Leinster for a few seasons now.
Can they continue the form of Last year or will they have another Longford day.
I cant help but make comparissons to Louth v Kildare in 2010 when McGeaney had his men full of angel dust in Navan.
Expectations were sky high for Kildare and the wee county relished the under dog tag.
A performance of that magnitude will be needed to get the win.
AOR has built a stronger panel than Fitzer had that day, lets hope he has as good a first year as his predecessors.
Wee live in hope:)

2007 was Louths best run in the qualifiers. The Leinster championships started off with the epic 3 games against Wicklow. Then they lost to Wexford in the next round. This is when 7 Louth players refused to travel with the Louth bus after the game. Louth had great away wins against Limerick and Kildare and then lost by 2 points to Cork in the qualifers. They where one game away from the quarter finals.

I'm delighted I picked London and Louth in my accumulator. I can't understand why people were building up Laois so much. A very poor team even though have some very good individual players. Laois may stick it the hurling. A good decision by Cahir Healy to concentrate on the small ball.

A bit disingenuous to the Louth performance with your comments there

Well done to Louth, thought that would go to the wire, on the handy side of the draw in Leinster, could have a good year yet. Laois are back to square one again.

Backed the first goalscorer in the Donegal v Tyrone game, Aside from that I didn't do any bets. So a nice bit of a profit anyway.
