Nothin so well thought out Hill. While I enjoy the debate I am also aware that the only way Donegal & Dublin will meet this year will be in the final & so that is my way saying "Don't get too far ahead of yourself Muck". A lot of water to flow under a lot of bridges before Donegal & Dublin meet this year.

I am probably being very dim here but I don't get the point you're making Hill. If I have posted something that gives that impression then allow me to correct it. Of course there are great players all over Ireland who will not be involved in the latter stages, nobody knows that hard fact of life more than we Donegal people. I'm not sure that I ever said different but if I did it was just me not expressing myself very clearly.

You misunderstand me Hill, What I said was that we won't know about how good Dublin are in the white heat of an All Ireland Final until we see them in one. This is a new Dublin team under a new manager & while the individual players, especially the forwards, are fantastic to watch & undoubtetly have great talent, it will be their ability to perform on the really big occasion that will define them. I fully expect them to win many All Irelands, I just don't know enough about them to know whether they will win this one. There are quite a number of battle hardened teams out there, Mayo especially seem to have developed a hard edge since last year, and it will be a fascinating summer. I can't wait!!
