Cavan v Armagh

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

I'm all for hard play and stuff but 25 for Cavan made no attempt to play the ball and nearly knocked Tony Kernan out with a punch straight red it should have been not a yellow.

Terrible terrible football, Ulster is now the weakest province without doubt.

Armagh very flat they looked over trained. The win is there for Cavan if they want it.

Maith an fear Paddy Óg. When was the last time Connacht won anything? Uladh has been humiliating you lot since the times of Cú Chulainn and Méabh. Hope we get to meet you in the semis

Cavan ahead by 5 at half time.

Eugene Keating is having a super game for Cavan.

It's there for them if they have the belief to go on and win it from here

I hope so as well, Donegal have shown themselves to the poorest All Ireland champions in a generation.

Maurice Deegan is having a shocker here, it's poor fare but Cavan overall look better but that disallowed Clarke goal will be much discussed

Definite goal for Armagh, why did Deegan
called that back, Armagh robbed of a goal!

Is this right, Paddy? I don't think we've shown anything yet. Our championship hasn't started. Y'all have been estimable Connacht champions though. Us in Dún na nGall really look up to you.

I'm not one of these Down men who love to see Armagh beat. I've always had a healthy respect for Armagh and how they carry themselves on the pitch, real honest group of players.
That said, I can't help but remember Paddy O'Rourke and the abuse he got from Armagh supporters during his time there and I feel he did ok. Armagh supporters wanted Grimley and this is what they've got,Shambolic - Can't blame Paddy though...

The Cavan forwards seem to be in the same mould of the Reillys.. Very selfish, they should be caught out further on..

Great win for Cavan. Delighted for them and hope they get a run together now. Match winning performance from Martin Dunne. Armagh were very poor and hit some awful wides.

Well Done Cavan, Great performance. Showed lovely character and resolve towards the end..

Shock number one of the championship. I'm delighted for them. Really hope they get to the semi's and beat Fermanagh now..

As for Armagh, That was woeful.. They rely so much on Jamie Clarke its unbelieveable.
