I don't disagree with teams a second game. Getting to the final with Cork out was more tongue in cheek talk as you can imagine!
That said, I'm only suggesting they maybe adopt a different type for second chance system similar to the CR Cup.

Meath and Dublin separated by half a point. Kildare then third. I just have a sneaking feeling that it will be a meath /Dublin v galway final.

I couldn't see our minor team going anywhere near the All-Ireland final this year never mind winning it....

Rossie disagree with you there. Think this years team is as good as last years. But we will wait and see.

I reckon Kildare will win Leinster out, they have some very good forwards in Flynn and Fitzpatrick. They have yet to be tested and now face the All Ireland champions in a Leinster semi final. Dublin are not as strong as previous years either are Meath.

Our boys taking a bit to get going but once we iron out a few small issues there will be no stopping us. Young Keane and Savage inside the full forward line are unmarkable. Still have Tommy Walsh's younger brother to come back from injury which will be a huge addition

How can Meath be 2nd favourites when they were beaten, and well beaten by Offaly who are now out of the championship. Both Leinster and Munster championships give a team a 2nd opportunity if they lose in the prelims and these teams often reach a provincial final. Was it 2 times that Tipp bet Kerry last year and Kerry ended up getting to the semi-finals whereas 2 provincial champs, Tipp and the Rossies got knocked out in the quarters. The minor championship is a farce and needs to be sorted out or just play 8 random groups of 4 with the winners of each group going onto play the quarter finals. That way lads have a chance to play at least 3 matches instead of playing 1 like what happens in Connacht. Rant over! But on this years championship I think Mayo and Galway to come out of connacht and both teams to contest the All Ireland final. Mayo have some serious players and if they can come together and play as a collective unit I can see them getting far.

Those odds don't make much sense. The quarter finals is Leinster v Connacht this year and whoever are the two that come out of Connacht will be more than capable of beating Leinster's best.

With exception of galway no one other team from connacht would trouble any of those 3 in leinster

Meath aren't as good as they were last year and lets be honest they were lucky to beat Mayo in the semi final. Dublin don't have many of last years team left they are starting a few 16 year olds and most of their fans are expecting to lose to Kildare. Westmeath probably held back by a poor manager.

Mayo,Galway better than last year i expect one of them to reach the All Ireland at least. Underage football in Connacht remains very strong and it's going to take good teams to beat the best in Connacht this year.

Meath better than last year. For anyone to say meath were lucky to beat what was a poor enough mayo team knows nothing about football.
Mayo minors have as much chance of winning all ire as their seniors (none)
Same applies to Ross. Only side from west with any real chance are galway. But winners will be one of Dublin, meath or kildare,

LOL knows nothing about football says the man that thinks Meath seniors are one of the top seven sides in Ireland

Anyone that watched Meath v Mayo semi final last year knows how lucky Meath were and were no match for Dublin twice a poor Kerry side gave Dublin a better game. Roscommon won the All Ireland in 2006 beating the mighty Meath minors along the way and Mayo while they do lose most finals they still won All Ireland U-21 title a few years ago something that Meath haven't done since 1993!

Yeah well I didn't think they were much good last year either. A fluke to beat Tyrone if the big red lad for Tyrone didn't go off with the nose-bleed they wouldn't have won also a fluke to beat Mayo because there no.8 clashed heads with there no.11 who was by far the stand out player. It would have been a better All-Ireland final if Mayo and Dublin had have played.

Sligo Minors are going well since they have got the All ireland Attractas winning team.. They have managed to beat longford , Monaghan and Donegal in challenges. They might suprise 1 or 2 and could beat the rossies
