If Donegal don't come out of the blocks they will be in serious trouble. Everybody get the note books out and count how many times Donegal try to foul Sean cavanagh around midfield to avoid Morgan's long rangers. Joe mcquillan will punish accordingly , Donegal fans will look on in disbelief on their home sod, Tyrone will push on and win by 3 or 4 points. Sean cavanagh will get man of the match and everyone will be scratching their heads going " oh Jesus aye, Sean cavanagh, forgot about him" . And on we go.

A lot of crystal ball gazing going on there JJ. You should give JMcG a shout, he probably hasn't given any of this a second thought & would be forever grateful for the heads up.

Johnjoseph,

Thanks for the reminder about Sean cavanagh, we had all forgotten about him up her in donegal, is there anybody else you think we have forgotten about, I wonder will Tyrone forget about any of our 8 all stars or the other 6 lads that were unlucky not too get one, for the record I think we will win 3/4 points. I think if people think tyrone will come into Mc Cumhaills park in our first game as All Ireland champions and turn us over are living on another planet........... It quite simply will not happen, the same way we would not go to Healy Park in omagh and turn Tyrone over if the roles were reversed... Murphy and Mc Brearty to be the star men

I guess we just disagree then GaryMc.I see both squads very differently. We have a team in the making with some new young lads comimg through and you say the same is true for Donegal. It is not, thats why they are naming the same team as won the all Ireland last year and we have lads making their championship debut.

If a team which won the All Ireland Championship 8 months is fully fit, why would you make changes to it ?! As the saying goes "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". You're commenting as iff all of Donegals players are in their 30's when in fact they're a young team. Capatin Michael Murphy is only 23, Paddy McBrearty is just 19, Mark McHugh, Leo McLoone and Paddy McGrath are only 22-23, Frank McGlynn, Neil McGee, Eamonn McGee, Anthony thompson are all 25-28. Colm McFadden at 30 is the oldest on the team named.

So your point that Donegal are not a young team with more left in them is complete rubbish.

Also.. have you never heard of the 5 year plan ? We're only entering Year 3 tomorrow ;)

Thankfully the nonsense will be over tomorrow and the football will do the talking.

Very confident that Donegal will send Tyrone home to lick their wounds tomorrow evening.

The balance of power has changed in Ulster Football and it won't be changing back this year either.

Never said they were an "old" team.Never said they didn't have more left in them. Some of you should read exchanges between people before weighing in on whats being said. The basic point I was making are that Donegal are basically an established team and Tyrone are still evolving at this moment in time.Thats why you are starting your all Ireland winning side and we have a side going out on Sunday with some championship debutants.

No I never said Donegal were a team in the making, I said they are not the finished article just yet ( Still Room for Improvement ). To say Donegal are a team in the making, would suggest they were looking for players for particular positions to complete the building of their starting line up. But that isn't the case, as they already have a strong starting 15.
Granted they of course are on the look out for new players to build a stronger bench.

Many of Tyrone's younger or new players have been part of the Tyrone senior setup for a few years now, but are only now making the starting line up. This is a result of Tyrone's management leaving it far too long to replace key men from the 2003-2008 era.

Tyrone stand on the brink of being genuine All Ireland contenders again, It can be clearly seen in their setup and method of play.
But they seem to be just lacking something this year, whether It's players or experience playing as a unit, I don't quite know.
Definitely some wee thing missing from them, now thats not to take away from them being a top 5 team all the same.

Lets just hope that Donegal don't direct any of their trademark
'unsubstantiated allegations' at Tyrone tomorrow!
If you lose lads, lose with a bit of pride ffs! ;)

youre welcome ben1977, when I was in mccumhaill park in 2010 for derry v Donegal in the qualifiers, of which the backbone of your team remains, there were about 2000 Donegal fans in attendance. How an AI changes a support base. much as I have always admired Donegal(and their fans) a certain cockiness has crept in that I just don't like. I don't like Tyrone whether they win or lose cause they aint great at either. Im just pointing out a simple fact, Sean Cavanagh will ruin Donegal in midfield tomorrow.
