arent we so lucky to have dublin..the greatest team of all time.at least 15 forwards that would walk onto any other team in ireland..lucky to be around to see them.id say the supporters are struggling to contain their smuggness!!

I'd start McManamon, I think he's a great player. In fairness with his power he's a great option to bring on in the last 20 minutes so I understand why Gilroy kept him in reserve.

as long as ye have Flynn and B Brogan it doesnt matter what other 4 ye put with them.They are IMO the two best players around at the moment. Im a huge fan of Flynn's especially. wish he was a Mayo man

It is more cringe than an episode of the office, egoism at it best. No problem with the thread ON A DUBLIN PAGE. Think most dubs would agree. Nothing all of us 31 counties prefer to do than pick the Dublin forwards. Can you set up a thread were we can pick their backs and midfield for the summer , as the great Fr. Ted would say 'lets save some excitment for next week'

11.Alan Brogan - Assuming hes fit and has played a couple of challenge games played.
12.Ciaran Kilkenny - Has he played league yet? If not see A.Brogan.
13.Paul Mannion - Once he keeps the form going he'll keep his place.
14.Diarmuid Connelly - Once he keeps the head and lets his football do the talking.
15.Bernard Brogan - Definite starter. Dublins attack revolves around him.

Can't understand people not having Paddy Andrews in their team. Although Connolly is a great footballer from a consistency and temperament point of view I don't think he should be starting full forward. For me Andrews would get the 14 jersey.

Honestly apart from a couple of the really top teams I cant name most teams first six forwards , and into div 2 3 4 etc id really struggle , most fans would be like that ,while we might enjoy hitting the keyboards back and forth over talent at our disposal , nobody said it should be a spectators sport .

The dubs seriously underrated Kev Mac Menamon....hes a class act and on his day is better than Brogan. Every time ive watched him kev performs.

The qustion should be will Gavin play 5 or 6 attack minded forwards. Martin Mc Hugh asks the question will the dubs like to get their hands dirty when the games in the melting pot. I know from the dubs home page that they didn't like the article, but I think its a good questiion and one that will no doubt be answered! They do have good talent up front but he has to get the balance right. I think he needs to find the formula and start implementing it now. It's no good playing one way for one opposition and another way for another. IMO.
