Enjoy being who ever you claim to be today!
Ok Nacca, Vice 99, Break-er...
Dear oh dear

You mean like this jimbo?
Dear oh dear...
I mean at least the jimbo-beelzedub one is actually accurate...

Well at least you havent gone into hiding like liamwalkinstown. He must have gone back to china.

Once again proving your awkwardness themaster

I had no intention of mentioning such but coming from a known multiple username poster

It's worth noting that for him to use it as a weapon is a little on the silly side.

I had no intention of mentioning it whatsoever... but coming from him? Well.. such a hypocritical stance is always worth noting.

That all I did.

Now do you understand?

Dear oh dear is right... to even imagine that you thought you actually had a point there is funny to me.

You really are awkward.. bumbling around the site, posting things out of context...

Not the first time you've done that to me today... wont be the last

It's kind of what I expect from you at this stage.

Jimbo is losing it! Not so nice when the shoe is on the other foot is it jimbo!
Think twice before slagging off other counties (on other threads), what goes around
comes around!

No it's actually very different thegatekeeper

There is hard documented evidence at the pathetic behaviour of Tyrone players

There is actually zero evidence thus far that's been produced in this case to prove anything...

Hence the circus. That's my point. I'm man enough to accept my counties faults... but only when they are proven.

Now if it transpire to be true I've already stated my feelings on the subject loud and clear

If it turns out to be true then we deserve the criticism. Just like Tyrone in the past/present.. completely justified.

Hence the on going circus which is this thread and subject

Because nothing is known and there have been many changes to the original story...

All this is a complete circus and several Dublin players have now unjustly had their names dragged through the mud.

That's not fair on them. If a Dublin player was involved in this... then throw the book at him

Until more is known this whole story is a media circus... and will only get worse.

Its like a feckin gossip website...

This is a no win situation. There is no pictorial evidence of the incident, or witnesses, yet there is evidence of a bite mark, and the records it in letterkenny hospital. The issue now is if he did it to himself, or if a dog bit him on the street before the game. Its a pity that it is going to probably turn into a case of letter of the law rather than spirit of the law, ie that due procedure was or was not carried out properly by the Donegal County board instead of getting the guilty party to own up like a man. This sort of thing is going to turn a lot of people away from the gaa

There is a bruise or is it a scratch or is it a laceration?

The letter of the law is there for a reason.

To make sure people don't make up stories and to protect an innocent person until evidence can suggest otherwise

That's quite important and adds just a tad to society

If proven guilty then throw the book at him... if this turns out to be some sort of misinformation then throw the book at Donegal

If it never happened then why no denial?
------------------------------------------------------

Oh I get it!....One must now spend ones life denying things just in case they are accused of something in case it may or may not have happened!......Jeez!!!

I dont deny ever having been on the moon!....Why?.....Because i have never been there so dont need to!

Who do you expect to deny it?......The lad that has not yet been accused?

Regards,

Snufalufagus....Laochra Gael

Even by your standards that's shoddy stuff Snuff.

The reason you have never had to deny being on the moon ids that no one ever thought you went there, unless you were on the waccy baccy for a day.

The difference with the Dublin player is that half the country knows who he is & has him down as a lowlife. He has been accused and if I was in he shoes I would want it known that I was innocent or at least get my version of events out.
As of now all we have is an accusation of biting lodged by one party, McBrearty, I would genuinely like to hear his version of events.
The longer he says nothing the guiltier he looks.

There is a big middle ground between those two positions jimbo. Being unable to prove the Dublin player guilty does not automatically mean that Donegal made it up. We are likely to end up between the two stools with both sides convinced of the rightness of their respective positions & supporters knocking lumps out of each other on HS.

I must admit, I would like to hear from both players, until we do the air is unlikely to clear.

I based my first posts based on taking it for granted that this incident 100% happened in the manner in which Donegal released the story

Turns out that many things were far from cleared up and as such releasing the statement before some real facts had been established has led to this circus...

Was this story leaked before Donegal CB had the opportunity to get their story straight

Because its changed a number of times...

Thegatekeeper has stated with his above post that he agrees with players being unjustly held responsible for a possible serious assault.

Because that's all this circus has achieved so far...

Its changing by the whispers of these threads. The story hasnt changed in terms of the official one anyway

All the more reason to hear from both players the Jimbo.

Blaming Donegal for making rash statements ignores the Dublin chairman stating categorically that nothing happened. How does he know?

We need to hear from the only two people who know exactly what happened, otherwise this will just rumble on & on, poisoning the atmosphere between the two counties, which I for one certainly don't want.

To be honest

We've already heard from one player...

Read Kettle's comments again and the context in which they were made.

He was right to make that statement

Either way...

This circus will continue.

If there was wrong doing then a severe punishment must be handed down

That works both ways...

You're a sound man.

Trust me.. if there was wrong doing from a Dublin side

We will be the first to condemn.

Lol, I doubt if the above statement would stand up in a court of law,
due to the glaring omission of evidence to back said statement!
The truth will come out Jimbo, so a bit of hush now!
