From what I have read, the only disagreement was that there was no laceration but in fact a bruise. Which reminds me of that episode of the simpsons, where lisa is sent to monster island, is informed that it is just a name, and it turns out to be a peninsula...

what I would like to know is why are the newspapers and rte and tv3 only commenting on this incident.
when they give rugby far more exposure all the time yet not one of them has mentioned the incident in the european rugby match the weekend where an Irish international player was spat at and clear as they to be seen shown live on sky sports.

coming from the man who was condemning a player to never play for dublin again and bringing shame on every dub when you didnt even have any footage of it or not one person at the match seen it happen.
this is clear footage of a player been spat at in the face and live on sky sports where both stations get most of their sports footage if you cannot see my point that its only hear say at the moment about the incident in ballybofey but yet the rugby has clear evidence of him spitting and it didnt even get mentioned.

Where is your proof that the medic denied saying it was a bite? If it is in the public domain then it shouldnt be a problem for you to provide it. All I have found is that he said it wasnt a laceration, but there was some bruising. It could obviously still be a bite if this is what he said, and more importantly it would mean that he did not deny it.
Since your whole argument is based on this fact it would obviously be in your interests to provide this. If you can then fair enough. But obviously if you cant, well all your talk about liars would be quite apt...
