its mothers day though the absense of the familys at matches was clear to be seen today and the baltic weather surely had an effect.

Yeah poor crowd today in Croker but it was Baltic.

I had the 2 nieces with me and I'm not ashmed to say that we headed straight after Bernard's goal for the safety of the Strand!

wait and you see paddys day its to be even worse weather maybe simliar to that hardy day when kilmacud crokes won the all ireland in the 90tys and mick pender somehow stood in front of hill16 sleet hailstones driving rain and wind into his face saved the penalty near the end.

I know man it could be awful! Won't have any of the childer with me though so I'll tough it out I think.

Might have something in a flask to keep me warm too it being Paddies Day and all ;)

Apparently there was 2,635 in Newry last night for An Dún v Maigh Eo and 251 for Tiobraid Árann agus Londain an tseachtain seo caite.

It was a disappointing turn out from the home crowd in Páirc an Chrócaigh today also.

Any one know anymore attendances from the weekend. It looked a good enough turnout in Ennis for the hurling. Would say at least 4000

I had a bit of a quandry with the Hurlers in Tullamore & Footballers in Carrick.

Solved it by taking 87 year old Mum to lunch & then visiting 88 year old Mother-in-law.

The day and the cold probably both had a big part in reducing attendances. Now I dont care how cold I will be in Croker on the 17th.

5,000+ in Ballybofey for Donegal V Kerry

A lot of mothers cooling their heels at home judging by the male dominance in my section!!!!

It was very low. Kildare were close enough to providing half the crowd I'd say. There seemed to be a few hundred from Wicklow in during the hurling too! Very low attendance but that said I have never been so cold during a match. The wind would cut you in two. It was freezing.

There was only about 150/200 in Tullamore for Offaly v Wexford. I know it was freezing but still pathetic effort

Pairc Ui Rinn was packed for the double header last night 7287 was the official attendance but that doesnt include U16s so id say there was easily 10,000. What were the other attendances like i'd expect a big enough crowd in Croke Park last night. There should be a big crowd there today anyway for the club finals. Ballymun playing would bring a big Dublin crowd. I'd predict there will be around 35,000 there today.

I would say 5,000 in Armagh last night - but I'm expecting a monster crowd at tomorrow's McRory, some say it could be the biggest crowd ever at a mcrory final

I don't know what the official attend. was in Armagh but the stand was packed by 12.30, so i would say 8,-10,000. A fantastic crowd, atmosphere and programme, The McRory has to be the best of the 4 provincial cups....

7000 at Kerry v down last night ..whilst Kerry fans aren't big into travelling .. Very good home support always even more so in this tough times for the team ... The crowd at that famous qualifier v Tyrone in Killarney while officially 24,000 could have been anything up to 35000 if the truth is known ....be anything up to 10,000 at cork v Kerry Sunday
