Singer as I said previously, I only write on this board because I was sick of reading the negative comments that you have been posting. What exactly have I alot to say about, that I disagree with most things you say. Well done to your club on Saturday, where you at the match?

from wat i hear the burren team that played at the weekend was also a combination of burren and mayobridge this was an amalgamation that happened in the middle of the u16 league. kilcoo surely have enough younger players their intermediate team is hardly made up of old players. are they so desperate to win?? wat about the girls from their club who are of the right age and wont get playin because they are part of a lerger panel. this is why girls lose interest!!!!

yea i too am interested to see who will be competeing in the minor tournament this weekend. i heard a rumour that carryduff and bredagh would be combining to make a team, but carryduff ladies seem to be dominating in nearly every age group they are involved in this year so surely they could hold their on in the tournament?? also was reading the comments about clonduff ladies, i think they deserve a break singer they did themselves proud reaching the ulster semi finals (and that donegal team were very strong) as did the newry shamrocks. so many negative comments from wat would seem to be grown men, slightly harsh on some of the ladies teams.

Carryduf dominating all sectors - are you serious......... They only won the intermediate title this season because Rostrevor failed to turn up against Kilcoo in the second half of their semi final... They will be put back in their place next year because Burren senior ladies are reforming again with Sean OHare back as their manager.. They will dominate the Intermediate league and championship again next season and hammer Carryduff in the process like they did last year 3 times.. The reason their u16s beat burren at the weekend was because of the 4 week lul burren had to endure between semi final and the final..... Carryduff didnt have to endure that...... Clonduff geting to a semi final is rubbish - they have won the title 3 years ina row now - even mayobridge men got to a final of ulster in that period!!!!!!!!!!

Carryduff have had a great season. U12's runners up in both league and championship. U14's league winners and championship runner ups (this was the first time in 4 years that this particular team had lost a match in 4 years). U16's winners of championship and runners up in league. And they had a week between their semi and the final but they had 2 months between any league matches and championship. Intermediate champions, had a good start to the league but had a bad losses in the summer to put them out of contention for the league. Sounds like ure right singer carryduff didnt really do much this year!!!!!!

Singer are you serious! if indeed these are the achievements of the caryduff girls this season u really dont have a leg to stand on. i have daughters who have played against them at both u14 and u16 level this year and the city girls dominated at both age groups. my suspicions are that u are from burren, you seem to know an awful lot about the club, and if this prediction is correct u dont have much ground to criticise any other ladies teams. it will be interesting to see what teams turn out to this minor contest, no doubt it is likely to be the majority of most clubs u16 players and a few minors.

I was at the minor blitz yesterday at Saval, there was some great flowing football displayed by the participating teams. Provides promising outlook for down ladies football.

Carryduff and Downpatrick have good underage players. A lot of them aged 16/17 who will make their mark at club/county level in the next couple of years.

i most certainly am not from burren - far from it i assure you... I dont like what they have done for the ladies game either... But i must commed\nd them on their efforts on sunday winning the minor championship..... Good to see carryduff put back in their place.. And yes they can win loads at underage - but thats because they get players from everywhere.............

Carryduff ladies have more than 100 girls playing for them and of them about half a dozen dont live in the parish and those that dont live in carryduff dont live in a parish with a ladies team. Dont know where u are gettin ur info from but it is wrong!!! And who are u to belittle the achievments these girls have worked hard to achieve??? Not just carryduffs achievments but clonduffs as well.

I notice you menton two of the biggest clubs for taking players from other places... Burren are the same - only for them mayobridge and warrenpoint would both have good teams at ladies football.... Any word on county team lately - all seems very quiet in the camp this year for some reason...............

Singer I am just about sick of you. Go and get your facts straight, Mayobridge folded last season due to no-one wanting to take them, and few people turning up for matches. Hence why some transferred to Burren so they could play football. Beats sitting at home i suppose. And this happened in Warrenpoint as well! I know Burren males may have a reputation for things like this in mens football but I dont think its fair to tar both groups with the same brush. As for Clonduff they do not bring in players either for no reason, they were brought in so they could continue their football because of other clubs folding. Not every club in Down support the womens teams remember. Or singer would you prefer that when their club folds that they stop playing football?? I think you are a disgrace, at least get your facts straight before you come on here slabbering. You are the most uninformed person that I know of that expresses their opinion. Most ppl would get their facts gathered before they shout their mouths off!!

Yeah i heard it was tough alright... Hopefully it will pay off though when the season starts for them... It may seem early to be starting the training process - but most teams are going down this track now so if you want to match them - you have to keep up with them............

What do ya mean - full of it??????? Im only stating a fact that they struggled with the session... I really cant say anything on this board without getting criticised flat out... I praise people - i get criticised, i state facts - i get criticised.......

Why do you have to post anything about how a training session went? It was their first session so obviously it was going to be hard. Are you going to have weekly updates on how training is going and let the rest of the country read about it on this message board? Why can you not let them just get on with it and then make comments when games are played. I think its a bit ridiculous to be commenting on how training sessions are going at this stage of the season.
