Down ladies - Proper message board

To say that people who give up their time to take a team are true Gales is a laugh,if nothing else.Any1 who goes to matches and supports their club and county are true Gales. My point about the Rostrevor ladies set-up this year is that they have no1 within the "mentors"who can train them properly.Every team deserves training with a proper coach a couple of times a week.I do think that Rostrevor will struggle this year. The senior league is very tough and they will get their eyes opened this season.

Point111 you seem obsessed with Rostrevor and their training methods or lack of it as you seem to suggest - maybe one of the Rostrevor Ladies could enlighten you on their training regime because they seem to be enjoying the recent methods introduced - incidentally a gale is a strong wind - time for some language training for yourself

Ladies played a shadow Monaghan side last night.... They were keeping their aces well away from the public eye and threw together a team to play down... Remember these two teams could end up playing in the championship later in the season... Monaghan had all stars resting where down had only the likes of Aileen Pyres, Eliza Downey and Lisa Morgan off duty... Shows the difference in strength in depth in the panels.............................. Another win to rave about if you love beating B teams.. Thats Kildare and Monaghan B outfits beaten - well done.....................

singer your a disgrace. these ladies are out doing their best and are a force in football now. i will say that i know very little about the ladies game, but they can only beat what is put ion front of them. i seen these ladies playing in front of a big crowd in newry last summer and only for a few slack goals they would have had a great win. so i think its time now for you to butt of and slapper off to a different county and slate them.

singer ur on the wrong thread - this isnt the grumpy old men discussion board!! Sigh, u really are miserable.... u pull out the odd comment now and then that merits an actual discussion, but totally ruin the validity of them by comments like the one above which are laughable and reek of bitterness........

Girls will get the credit they deserve when they play teams with merit.... Im not looking forward to the league campaign at all this season.. I have no optimism for this team at all this year..... Any word when club leagues start?????

Singer - you are pathetic.... I really cant wait for the league this season - the girls are playing with confidence at the minute and all their pre season training has left them in great shape for the start of the league... Hope all injuries clear up soon so there are headaches when selecting the team for the management.... Thats the way it should be..........

Well folks I see some of you have fallen into the trap again, I did ask you all to ignore Singer for 1 week.As usual a few of you took the bait ( well done Singer ).Folks catch yourselves on, Singer is the only person stirring it , those of you who are falling into the trap are just as sad. For the sake of Down Ladies football, ignore Singer, for those of you who do not, please do not come onto the site crying or whinging about Singer---- SHUT UP or PUT UP ( WITH REGARDS TO SINGER).

Singer . . . . . . . who is that? I once knew a slabber from Bryansford called Singer but I dont hear him anymore. All he did as run down ladies football, especially the Down management but I chose to ignore him and his immature and onesided posts. I reckon he's very frustrated. He just loves ladies football but never comments on the men's game. He just can't wait for the ladies league to start!!!!!!!!!!!!! - catch a grip.

Did anyone hear Singer...............................................Not me

Ripping - went whole way to Omagh to see the game and it was called off due to adverse weather conditions... You would think it would be better known throughout the county to save good patrons like me travelling down on wasted journeys.... Hopefully the weather picks up or the national league game will get pulled too......................
