Come off it, I wouldn't begrudge one of the weaker counties like Westmeath some success. Its a poor division, but some team has to go up.

Very impressive from Westmeath, I've always considered Glennon and Dolan two of the finest forwards around along with Connaughton whos one of the best GKs in the country. Hearing big things from Heslin aswell. I always thought their bad period of the last few years would blow away, theres some fine footballers there.

Haha, trust me, we aren't going anywhere anytime soon. There will be a division 2 rematch in Mullingar in 2015 :-)

Very well done Westmeath, massive turnaround from last year, credit where credit is due I really didn't see Westmeath having such a brilliant league campaign.

The big thing now is can Westmeath carry their winning/unbeaten form on into the championship ?.. there's nothing to suggest they can't.
