Its funny really. Everything is perfectly 100% legal when its comes to transfer involving Dublin and Dublin clubs but questions need to be asked involved cetain other transfers. sedico (Kildare) - Posts: 1682 - 20/12/2012 13:16:35 1312425 Link 0 |

dont make such poor points maybe hill i wont feel the urge to respond them....explain the poor me siege mentality you accused me of being anti dublin on another forum explain?...yes dublin club football is quite strange with all the transfers..serious amount of poaching up there ffgg (Longford) - Posts: 2571 - 20/12/2012 16:29:56 1312533 Link 0 |
you obviously know nothing about dublin football pal as its almost impossible to get a transfer from one club in dublin to another unless the club is willing to let you go for a certain reason, poaching is next imossible with the gaa rules and its gas that you have no problem with australians or other sports poaching these same guys but when they decide to go to a dublin club straight away theres a problem hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 20/12/2012 16:50:18 1312544 Link 0 |

well if he has moved up there i see no issue at all...id take this whole situation with a pinch of salt anyway due to his claims about playing in longford over the past 2 seasons...how long did it take fennell to get his transfer as a matter of interest?..yes i dont mind club in dublin that much and i understand why no parish rule as its big city but parnells are a bit of a joke ffgg (Longford) - Posts: 2571 - 20/12/2012 17:13:31 1312570 Link 0 |
ffgg, not sure what your point is against Hills, as stated Mulligan moved to Dublin as his girlfriend lives there and looked to join Brigids because they have a large Leitrim contingent. Some of the Dubs on here have expressed they are against poaching but that it does exsist. Rosineri1 (UK) - Posts: 2099 - 20/12/2012 17:18:04 1312573 Link 0 |
i retract my point if he has moved to dublin as i wasnt aware of that ffgg (Longford) - Posts: 2571 - 20/12/2012 17:21:33 1312576 Link 0 |
parnells and one or 2 others give dublin clubs a bad name with their poaching ffgg (Longford) - Posts: 2571 - 20/12/2012 17:22:36 1312577 Link 0 |

what other club in dublin goes poaching players? hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 20/12/2012 17:43:15 1312588 Link 0 |
the parish rule is not a ridic rule at all why is it?...the gaa is all about where you are from..you should only be able to play for the clubs from where you are from or live...this isnt soccer ffgg (Longford) - Posts: 2571 - 20/12/2012 17:43:57 1312590 Link 0 |
well kilmacud provided a longford player quite a lot in order for him to play for them...na fianna were at it years back where they not? ffgg (Longford) - Posts: 2571 - 20/12/2012 17:52:16 1312596 Link 0 |
you said in terms of dublin which is a big city and with the cost of houses as they are what happens if when you get married and buy a house its not in the parish your club is in does this mean you should automatically move club to the one your house is parish is in? hill16no1man (Dublin) - Posts: 12665 - 20/12/2012 18:06:15 1312599 Link 0 |
