Its funny really. Everything is perfectly 100% legal when its comes to transfer involving Dublin and Dublin clubs but questions need to be asked involved cetain other transfers.

Unbelievable but true.

you obviously know nothing about dublin football pal as its almost impossible to get a transfer from one club in dublin to another unless the club is willing to let you go for a certain reason, poaching is next imossible with the gaa rules and its gas that you have no problem with australians or other sports poaching these same guys but when they decide to go to a dublin club straight away theres a problem

what poor comments i gave a clear point and you choose to start an arguement.
is it not true that eamonn fennell got lambasted for attmetping to move from o tooles to st vincents but when a leitrim guy who is living in dublin goes to a dublin club asking to join its somehow the dublin club poaching him explain how my point is poor please.

"It will be tough to move from Melvin Gaels, all my friends and family play for the club, but I moved to Dublin three months ago and I couldn't make the commitment," he explained to the Irish Examiner.

"It is a five-hour round trip to make it back for training and the finances of it are not possible. Even trying to get back for training ahead of our league final was tough."

is that proof enough for you he said it himself.

he lives and works in longford as far as im aware hill so your point is quite weak...it seems to be poaching to me as where else would he get the notion to go to this club?..what about parnells hill?..seems like extreme poaching they are at

he apporoached st brigids how does i seem poaching to you ?
i have long been aginst what parnells are doing

well if he has moved up there i see no issue at all...id take this whole situation with a pinch of salt anyway due to his claims about playing in longford over the past 2 seasons...how long did it take fennell to get his transfer as a matter of interest?..yes i dont mind club in dublin that much and i understand why no parish rule as its big city but parnells are a bit of a joke

ffgg, not sure what your point is against Hills, as stated Mulligan moved to Dublin as his girlfriend lives there and looked to join Brigids because they have a large Leitrim contingent. Some of the Dubs on here have expressed they are against poaching but that it does exsist.

well dont be so quick to make acusations against me in future then when im in the right.it took 4 years to get his transfer, parish rule is a pointless ridiculous rule anyway you should be able to join what club you want.parnells are not abig club in dublin alot people outside dublin seem to believe they are a top club they got money for the sale of their pitch at the airport il let you do the maths as to why so many country guys are moving up to play

what other club in dublin goes poaching players?
its the player himself who has moved to dublin chooses to go to the likes of kilmacud crokes,st vincents,st brigids,st oliver plunketts becuase these clubs have been successful its up to the player himself to join what club he wants once he moves to live in dublin,if you have that choice your obvioisly going to pick a good team over a team which is not so good

the parish rule is not a ridic rule at all why is it?...the gaa is all about where you are from..you should only be able to play for the clubs from where you are from or live...this isnt soccer

well kilmacud provided a longford player quite a lot in order for him to play for them...na fianna were at it years back where they not?

you said in terms of dublin which is a big city and with the cost of houses as they are what happens if when you get married and buy a house its not in the parish your club is in does this mean you should automatically move club to the one your house is parish is in?
most people involved with the gaa dont even go to mass or care about the church anymore so what has the parish got to do with it for these people?
also what happens if your family members have all played for said club and including your father should you not be allowed play for that club if you are not living in the parish the club is situated in?

na fianna were the top team in senior football at that time i guess thats why these guys wanted to join them.
as for crokes and the longford player did he not go to kilmacud and join them? what did they do for him and was it before or after he joined them?
