Leinster Final 1995

Dublin 1-18
Meath 1-08

Nothing compared to it, nothing!
Even the All Irelands I have seen us win, that was the greatest day of them all

Meathmen, dont take that as a slight on ye, take it as a serious serious compliment if anything

2006 Q/F v Armagh and 2009 semi final v Dublin 2 games when Kerry went into as under dogs according to the media and won both well

All Ireland Senior Football Final of 1998 - Galway V Kildare.

The feeling at the final whistle of pure unadulterated joy - 32 years of hurt and suffering wiped out in an instant. Amazing day, fantastic occasion and a brilliant day to be a Galwayman.

The best game I have ever attended was the Derry V Down Ulster Championship 1st round 1994. We may be swayed by county allegiance but this game is widely regarded as one of the best ever played.

It really did have everything, A balmy May day, fierce rivalry built up over previous 3 seasons, two great managers in Pete McGrath & Eamonn Coleman, no back door all or nothing intensity, greats of the game in Mickey Linden, James McCartan, Greg Blayney, Connor Deagan Anthony Tohill, Henry Downey, Kieran McKeever, Tony Scullion, Joe Brolly. Bone crunching tackles, great fielding, super scores and a late late winning goal. Another key ingredient was the superb refereeing by Kerry's Tommy Sugrue who always gave advantage to the man on the ball.
I remember after the game down on the pitch near the changing rooms and we would have stood talking about what we had just witnessed all night.
Priceless memories.
The way the game has changed now with so much cynicism and negativity, I am quite sure I will never see a game as good.

Yes that and the 2007 vs Dublin the day of Declan O'Sullivan's goal and Darragh going off injured the atmosphere that day was unreal. Armagh draw and replay in 2000 would not be far behind

2004 last 12 game vs Donegal. Quality wasnt great. But it was tense. Watched Donegal hit the woodwork. We really got the rub of the green that day. I was away for the QF against Armagh but watched it on the tele live. No feeling like it when Tom Brewster put that ball over the bar.

Drawn ulster final of 08 was also a great game. Sean Doc equalising with the near last kick of the game. Sheer pandemonium in the crowd.

Mine was Derry v Antrim 2000, Anthony Tohill stopped a potential winning point with his fingertips in the last seconds. The Ulster Final that year was also one of the best games I've seen. Derry v Tyrone 2006 maybe is up there as well.

@ballybannongael I've heard my father talk about that game, I've only seen highlights on youtube though given that I was 2 at the time

Beating Kerry in the AI final 2011. Nothing has come close to that feeling for me. Not even winning in 95. For sheer surprise though beating Tyrone in 2010 was a great result for us.

In terms of tension and great football it would have to be the 2007 semi-final against the Dubs. Watching the duel between Alan Brogan and Marc O Se that day was a joy to behold!

Either the first Kildare-Meath replay in '97 or the Dublin-Mayo game in 2006.

In terms of satisfaction from the result it's hard to beat this.

Kerry v Dublin 09 QF. Kerry showed how the game was to be played that day. My fav moment was when Mike McCarthy, the most underated footballer kerry ever produced controlled the ball with his head, when he was maurading out of defence.

Kerry are the barcelona of Ireland.

For me it has to be the leinster semi-final in 2004, wexford v. kilkenny.
Mick Jacob's last minute goal and the whole place just went mad.. It's not too often we saw croke park pitch being flooded after a semi-final.. One of the greatest days of my life.

Football- Mayo v Dublin All Ireland Semi in 06

Hurling- Toss up between the 09 and 10 finals. I'd nearly lean towards 09 even though that other crowd won it.
