Very few football gloves are durable from what Ive experienced.

The last few pairs Ive bought have been the GealicPerformance ones which seem decent enough. they actually have some great offers like 3 for 45e and so on. the best pair I had were ones that Puma made for gaelic games but are very hard to get. I think the GAA-Store.com might be stocking them again tho.

Theyve came a long day from the Mikasa gloves tho. them were the days.

I'm really dissapointed with gaelic gloves whcih are currently on the market, in my experience anyone training & playing 3 times a week need to get a new player every 3/4 months. When I was a young lad a pair used to last me a year! Agree that Puma gloves were of excellent quality.

Benny Coulter has released a new line of gloves. They're BCG gloves; they have been tested by Bernard Brogan who said they are one of the best he's ever worn. They're class quality and have some grip on them. At the moment they are selling around up here and are becoming really popular. Personally I've never had better gloves and they come in a load of colours and sizes and they're only £13 or £10 for bulk club orders.

Dunno if they are on many shopping lists, but if they are, Id reccommend gumshieldPro. Theyve a link from and add on this site and brilliant value. I could never wear one as I always got a choking feeling when trying to run, even with the one I pain 150e to the dentist for. But I got one from gumsheilPro for 35e and its perfect. they send you out the compound and you take your own imprints (2 of them) and send them back and they will make your gumsheild and send it back to ya.

The O'Neills & Puma ones are my own favourite. They're a little pricey though. And you probably wouldnt get any more than a season out of them.

Those Mikasa ones bring back some memories alright. Everybody wore them!!! A pure symbol of my own childhood!

Most gloves on the market at the moment are poor enough lucky to last a few months! The best at the moment are Puma but are hard to find. Uhlsport used to make very good gloves but dont seem to anymore

When you say, get a season out of them...., Im assuming your referring to Winter, spring or summer and so on. Definatly not a full footballing year anyway. Either that or Im buying dodgy gloves somewhere..... Holes in the tops if the fingers, ripped palms and thumbs, stitching coming away.

Good job but in terms of the palm and support the J4K ones are defo a better job.. Hope this helps!

As a spare pair of gloves and for old times sake I bought a pair of these "Mikasa" replica gloves by Elverys

Brings back many memories of my youth as well, and all for only €6.00.............
