Donegal to retain, simply do not believe any other team will have developed or improved enough to beat them in 2013

We will. Horan will keep he progression on the upward path and find few new additions to the team like last season, especially in the forwards and midfield. We're hungry and have shown serious intent in the past two years. We need a lot more positivity from the fans to match what this team have been showing.

Donegal to win Sam 2013.

There is only 4 contenders outside of Donegal.

Cork look like a team in decline, with canty, oleary, c connor, Kissane and Pierse o Neill all with there best days behind them.
Tyrone are unknown quantity, and could be a good outside bet.
Kerry just dont have the players coming through like they once did.
Dublin are not the same force without Alan brogan, and if he gets injured again this year the dubs could struggle.

Im going to put a cheeky bet on Tyrone to win at 20 - 1 in some bookies, good bet for an outsider.

Mayo, dunno why, just think they might get over the line at long last.

Tyrone 08,Kerry 09,Cork 10,Dublin 11,Donegal 12 five different winners the last five years, i don't care who wins it (won't be Roscommon anyways) but i hope that trend continues next year.

I agree with those odds and the likes of Mayo,Kildare,Tyrone will do well to reach the final never mind winning it.

Mayo might have a chance if they stop giving away goals in the first 10 minutes of finals

Odds are reasonably fair enough even though I see no reason for a difference of 7 in the odds of Dublin & Mayo, personally I would have Mayo as second or third favourites with Cork followed by Dublin and Kerry but Donegal are rightly firm favourites

Can't see past Mayo or Donegal. Mayo will be hugely improved when they get Andy Moran back, their big problem was up front this year.

I think peileadóirí Chorcaí have something big to prove this year and I think think they will do it. The Dubs will do well this year in Gavin's first season but I think think they will have to wait until 2014. I expect him to use this year to blood a few new players and to implement the style he will want the Dubs to play. I expect McGuinness's role with Celtic to have a bearing on Dún na nGall. He is in my opinion one of the best managers ever but I do not know where he is going to get the energy from to commit fully and properly to Dún na nGall.

Big gap between the top 5 and everyone else over the last two years.

I think it's between Donegal and Cork but wouldn't be a shock for Dublin, Kerry or Mayo to take them out along the way. Would take a serious jump from any other county to make the final.

A few people here have mentioned Maigh Eo as potential winners but I can't see where that idea is coming from. They played for big games last year - against Ciarraí agus Corcaigh in the later stages of the league (lets face it the league is not fully competitive until the latter stages of the competition) and the Dubs agus Dún na nGall in the later stages of the Championship. It is well highlighted that the Dubs underperformed this year and that the present Ciarraí team is on the way out and in need of rebuilding. They are the two teams Maigh Eo beat. They were easily beaten in the league final by Corcaigh and in the All reland final by Dún na nGall last year. They won't have as easy a path to the final again. Had they been up against Corcaigh nó Ciarraí in the quarters or in the semis I don't think think they would have been around in September.

Culann doing well for Dublin is winning Sam anything less is a failure and a bad season.

I'm not so sure about Mayo lads. Cian O'Neill was the brains behind that operation and he will be a huge loss to them. I don't think wee will win it either it will be hard for us to get our feet back on the ground after this year. AI semi finalists at best I'd say. My money would be on Cork or Kerry with Tyrone as dark horses. They were crippled last year with injuries and have a few big men coming back for them.

2013 hasnt even started yet too early to judge what teams will win when we dont even know whos going to be in the panels for each team way too soon to answer that question till we see what each team actually looks like.
