you know I will give it to the Cats they have enjoyed great seuccess in the last 15 years
but dont get carried away lads success comes in cycles for the big three remember it took the cats all of 40 years or more to beat Tipp in a championship game so I wouldnt get carried away just yet because those days will come again trust me.

You've been telling us that for over 2 years now and it still hasn't happened

That's good to hear so by your calculations we have another 25 years of domination.

The secret of Kilkennys sucess is that they are the better team of the past 10 years. A few teams have changed hands but Kilkenny were at their peak in the past 3-4 years. I dont think the quality of Kilkenny hurling will drop in the future but it would be wrong to suggest that other counties will not improve to match Kilkennys success over time. Galway did beat them well in Leinster and held them goalless in an all Ireland final and no matter what people think that is a step in the right direction. Kilkenny came out on top because of experience. Come 2013 I can guarantee you if Galway and Kilkenny meet again in the Leinster final past achievements will go out the door and everyone outside of Kilkenny will be hoping for a repeat of this years Leinster final when the men of Maroon made the greatest team of all time look like boys. Galway Having picked up more all stars than Kilkenny this year and unlucky that we lost out on another to Johnny Coen, Kilkenny will have plenty to worry about in next years championship. Tipp and Clare will have a say and Cork were no disgrace this year either. Kilkenny are the team to beat every year and unlike a few years back they are not unbeatable anymore.
